Just about everyone and their mom has used a rotor now and honestly I cant say more great things about it. They are light, slick or low profile, easy to take apart, don't drain batteries daily, I mean the list can go on for ever. Field striping is what had me sold on it. With the push of a button you can have it taken apart with only 5 parts to have to worry about/ clean. Another huge + for me was the fack the shells are really hard to break.

Now for the bad.... Well it seems you get a good one or you get bad one. (most re good) Ive had quite a few now and opnly 2 were bad ones. When I say bad I mean they jam, randomly shut off, eat batteries, just a pure pain in the butt. Honestly its enough to ruin the rotor name in peoples heads but the problems can be fixed with a Virtue soft arm and SEED kit!

This is hands down the best loader on the market. Easy to disassemble, great on battery life, and loads faster than anything else. All that plus it's practically indestructible. The closest thing to a perfect product ever produced.

My only two complaints are that it can be prone to jam if the paint is in any way slightly distorted and that the price was jacked up to $200. That's really steep for a hopper. But if you have dough and you don't mind dropping it on a hopper, you are seriously getting the best that money can buy.

really one of the best loaders i have owned and i have used vlocity's and halos. Rotor has an amazing feed rate and holds just over 1 pod of paint. for me at least the batteries last a long time in other loaders it always seemed i had to change batteries once a month. While with the rotor i dont have to change them for about 6 months. like the cons say from time to time i always get one or two jams like most loaders, but it rarely happens. i dont see myself using any other loader any time soon unless i get it for free or something lol

You get what you pay for and although I wish there were some cheaper hopper options with the same qualities, there aren't any hoppers that compare to the rotor.
The quick break-down is one of the best features of the hopper. I've had times where a ball jams or one breaks in the hopper mid-game and you can take it all apart and put it back together in less than 30 seconds. This was the main reason that I wanted to upgrade from the halo that I used for so long.

I have the v3 Dye Rotor.
This is a great hopper bought it off of Nation for $115 shipped. This hopper has a great sturdy neck (although it doesnt fit on many other markers because it is thicker than most). Loads very fast and hasn't jammed on me at all.
I used it on my Spyder TL (since my PMR isn't up and runnin' yet), it didnt have a single glitch! The weight of the hopper is made up by the performance of it.

Appearance: 5 stars. This hopper looks cool with a low sleek profile and looks good with both the lid and speed feeds. I have the blue one, and although I wish it was a bit lighter color, it works for both speed and woodsball.

Performance: Do I have to explain? Ok, of course it's a 5 star. This is the fastest and most consistant hopper I've ever seen. The v1 and v2's I have heard have jammed and other not so cool stuff. It has the shark tail to unjam or just to load and put tention on the ball stack while the hopper is off. It is EASY to take apart. Everything come out form inside including the gear box. I have an Empire Halo B which was to my surprise was lighter than the Rotor. The gear/battery box is the heaviest part of the hopper. But how Dye countered it was the low profile but is back heavy, this back heaviness makes the front of your marker lighter and easier to move around. The Empire B was lighter and more balanced with the battery box in the front and the gear box in the back, but it has a larger profile and sits higher up on the marker. The v3's are amazing! The technology still is just so high tech. It's fun just watching how it works. Good Job Dye Enginers!

Reliablility: This is a 5 star also. Watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XdqKg0PIXfY This explains it all, I watched this before I bought it and I'm like "yup this hopper will do." Living in Washington, well it rains a lot and it's nice to know that the rain won't ruin my hopper. Even though I may accidently drop it in a puddle just need to let it dry out and it would be ready to go.

Value: Yeah ok, it is pretty spendy but you won't need another hopper after you get this (unless you have several markers that you let others use). I have this and an Empire Halo B. I got the Halo for $30 at a pawn shop and justified getting the rotor. This is worth at least $120 although if you can get one for cheaper go for it.

This hopper is overall GREAT!!! I would advise people to get it. It is heavier than a halo but has a lower profile and feeds faster

The speed feeds are great, they are kinda a pain to put in but with a little practice it gets easier.

I love this hopper! this is the best hopper out their for it's performance and weight!
