Dye Precision Rotor Fantastic hopper to have and I would say that everyone should play with one of these at least one time. Very easy to break down and maintain.

Feeds super fast. indestructible (atleast i havnt been able to destroy it yet) easy to clean. batteries last friggin forever. easy to unjam. some ppl complain about price but seriously the money you save on batteries easily covers that price difference in a year. i really dont trust any other loaders these days. easily install speed feed, change the top shell to larger capacity shell, or the color scheme. amazing product.

The Dye Rotor is a Hopper that probably will be used for a long time. Its overall performance is amazing. The lid that comes stock on it has to be the greatest in my opinion and many others. It very small and compact put can hold just as much paint as a normal hopper such as a halo. The other great thing about it is it color choices. Another Amazing feature about the Rotor is its ability to take it apart in just about a minute.

Ok so this is probably the best loader I've ever had, from a gravity to reloader and halo's to magna's now the rotor I'm very satisfied. The appearence is sexy and very unique. I love the battery straps and the fact I can let my 5yr old take it apart for me with no headache. It's fast and so far reliable. But I'm a little worried of whats to come. Everytime something new comes out there's alot of hidden and slow to find problems. But I have yet to find anything so far and really hope I don't. Price also a small concern but hey if your a hobbiest like me you pay for the best and stick to the name you love.

This loader is it. The Rotor is better than amazing. I've play about 4 Walk ons and on the weekend I'm going to play X-Ball Srimmages at a reball center.

Pros:
Fast
Size
Battery Life
Quick Dissambley
Anti Jam
Interchangble Color kits.

Cons:
Quick Feed breaks when shot
Nothing else.

This loader never jams when on a marker, even with reballs. I have used at the Dundee Sports Dome Reball Center in Canada and am a regular. Its has only jammed once and it was from a bunch of turf stuck in it. It looks amazing on my Shocker and when everyone had jammed Halo's and Vlocitys I had none. I have used a Empire B2 and a Gangstar'd Vlocity and the Rotor wins by a long shot in every thing. I'd Recemend this to anyone and two of my teammates are gonna buy one now.

So Like many others I jumped onto the rotor because of its impressive reputation. This loader is very good looking and makes my DM look even fiercer. Its nice to show off, and very reliable. I've been using it for about 3 months and i've only had one jam. The weird thing is that I've played in the rain, and when water got into my virtue crown, wetting and ruining the monster balls inside (cheap, crappy paint), the loader still fed them. But when using good quality paint I had a jam. I am going to be getting rid of the rotor in about a week for several reasons.
First of all, this thing is SO heavy. Without the rotor on it, my DM feels almost as light as an ego. The rotor is extremely back heavy, and it is more heavy then my tank, or my entire gun. For some people that doesn't matter but weight is extremely important to me.
My second reason is that I will never really need to shoot the 50+ bps it offers. Seriously, I know I will never shoot that fast.
My third reason is that the anti-jam trigger on the bottom doesn't really work. Like I said, I've only jammed one time, and that anti-jam trigger just made the problem worse. I jammed while snap shooting from the center 50, so I obviously didn't have any time to calmly solve the problem. I quickly pulled the anti-jam trigger, and instead of unjamming the loader, the trigger broke open the paint ball. So instead of quickly fixing the problem, I had to get out of that game, and spend 10 minutes cleaning the loader, and missing a game.
My final reason is the price. This is probably the most expensive loader in paintball, and I don't think that it's worth the price.

THE BOTTOM LINE: You can get a lighter, and slightly slower loader for much less money. Like I said, weight is very important to me, I will never need to shoot 50+ balls per second. If Pbnation offered a section where I could choose wether or not I recommend this loader, I would say know. It does look very nice, performs very well, and is very reliable, but its not worth the price, and too heavy.

Hope this helped, and happy shooting.

Pros: Can keep up with any gun that I know of.
Cons: Jams
This is a very high end top of the line loaders, the Dye Rotor is one of the best on the market but it does have its ups and downs. I used this loader about 25-30 times and shot around thousands of paintballs. It is very fast and very consistent and never chopped paint. But there were a few times were a ball would get stuck between the two rotating fins, and the anti-jam wouldn't work. Sure all you have to do is shake the whole gun but in a clutch situation where your second to last guy and your stuck alone at snake and it jams...I'll just say it didn't end well.
But all around good loader i say 8.5/ 10

I love this HOPPER!,

Very, EXTREMELY easy to maintain. It goes apart in 4 pieces.
The sleek design of the rotor gives it an agressive look.

Battery life is very very long. Im still using the same AA batteries (i guess i have an advantage because i use INDUSTRIAL Engergizers from work)

Very good Buy
