Cons: Requires a little more maitanance than Ego.
This is probably my favorite gun I've ever shot alongside the Ego's I've owned. First off you know anything you get from Planet Eclipse is going to be of the best quality. Secondly this is perfect if you've ever been stuck between spoolies and the PE brand. Right out of the box I put a PE Soft Touch kit in and I could not feel the slightest bit of kick and it shot ball on ball. I was amazed by how well it shot right away and it's been the same ever since. This gun is great because it gives you the a spoolie look and feel but none of the drawbacks that I've experienced with DM's and the such. I would recommend this marker to anyone in the market to get a new one.

Cons: P.E. lied about the air efficiency
bought the GEO at world cup in 08. Gun shot great, never broke down (minus the screws backing themselves out, but PE patched that) which is odd for spool valve markers back then. only thing is that PE quoted 1500ish shots and we coudln't even get 1000. constant lies from PE about how it was the users, blah blah blah. Their CS ruined my taste for their markers from this point on. previously had owned ego5,6,7.

Pros: It's Planet Eclipse
Cons: None really
Now that that the geo 3 is out you can find these guns relatively cheap, which is awesome. For Eclipses first spool marker they did a fantastic job. I will admit it is a bit louder than say a dm or a clone, but if that's the worst I can say about it than I'd say Planet has done pretty damn good.
My favorite part of this gun is the simplicity of the bolt, 3 parts? This makes this a very user friendly marker with very little matinence, just slap some lube on the bolt after a days play and it'll shoot mint every time you take it out of the box. People say that the efficiency for this marker sucks
, the solution to this is to turn in the VVC screw(located on the back cap) this will greatly improve your efficiency and also quiet down the marker quite a bit.
All around though Planet Eclipse has basically turned their ego series into a badass closed bolt killing machine. 10/10 from me

Pros: Cheap used, easy to maintain
Cons: not quiet for a spool, air hog
These markers can be very hit or miss. I've heard some people who have the quietest Geos in the world that shoot smoother than anything at the field. I've also heard of people, myself included, that have Geos that shot like a cannon, used all the air in their tank after four pods, and kicked like a mule. That said, the board controls are great, and for the price, you're getting a very good marker.

Pros: Easy on paint. Great Gun
Cons: None?
I have to shoot a PE gun for HB and I've always been a spoolie guy. Fortunately I was able to trade for a Geo and for the most part have been ver happy with it. Accuracy is good with a good paint-barrel match. Trigger is easy to adjust and rip on. SL3 Reg has AMAZING consistency. Overall I'm very impressed with the Geo.
GR-2 and GST Kits would be nice to have, but even without them I'm fond of my Geo. One thing to note, Geo's (unlike Ego's) need to be cleaned/relubed after every day of play or else performance with suffer drastically. Fortunately routine maintenance is very simple so there's no reason to try to avoid it
