I just recently got my ego 9, ninja black, and have used for several trips. This is not my first high-end marker, I have used tried several dms and past egos, but I was still amazed by the performance of this gun. First of all this gun is very, very fast on both semi and ramping modes and easy to adjust. The ability to choose between micro and opto trigger operation is a great feature. Also this gun is extremly light, far lighter than the Matrix i was using prior to this. The only bad thing I have encountered so far is that the ego 9 tends to chop pretty often with cheap paint. This problem seems to go vanish though with the use of better paintballs. Overall if you are looking for a great gun and are willing to pay the price the ego 9 will blow you away.

i got this ego black ninja 09 all i can say that it beats the previous models maybe a 'lil close with the '08 but still a lot of changes to it. a friend of mine got a dm9 and we compared it side by side and dm9 looks like a low end marker compared to the specs and looks of the new 09 ego.

I got this marker just about the day it came out. I probably have around 15000 rounds through this marker and I unfortunately already have a leak coming from the solenoid and am having trouble fixing this. This ego seems much louder than the previous models but I am sure that with the right adjustments it can be a bit quieter. Also, this marker had a lot of kit out of the box. The ego looks great and the new trigger guard is amazing.

I love my 09 ego, but the only problem i notice is that at the end of the shot or around 150-200 feet it will tail to the right of the target!!! My 07 ego does not do that. I hope it just needs to be broke in..... but great gun, go buy one

Ok, So..Coming from a REC standpoint to a SpeedBall view, I've learned a lot about paintball and the markers. I started out with a Spyder XTRA in '05 and later moved onto a PMR in '07, Next was my Angel Fly that I used for '08 and now I am a proud owner of an EGO9 that I received in mid 2009. Great marker that shoots butter-sauce. Saying "Butter-Sauce" or "Buttuh-Sawce" is a way of showing that a gun shoots amazing. EGO9's are buttuh-sawce...
My EGO9 has a Cure3 bolt in it and soon a Zick2 Kit, hopefully. It's never chopped a ball, even on 5 or 6 month old paint that sat in my freezing cold garage. Great gun, Great reliability, Great company...
Go Eclipse or Go Home.
