I received the 09 ego from my parents as a birthday gift. I got the "XFactor" limited edition version and as soon as i got it i installed the plank kit and ever since it has run perfectly! I usually clean it regularly once a month except for before a tournament. Have never had a problem with it. The gun is really fast and smooth shooting. I highly recoment it to anyone looking for a nice paintball marker. Especially now that the newer egos have been and are still coming out you can find these 09 ego for really cheap compared to what they cost new. Again i highly recomend this gun to any player looking for a new gun or a back up.

I loved this gun, it shot fantastically. Never had a ball chop, put probably over one hundred cases through it. That said, it was less consistent than my 07 Ego, and it also had a moderate amount of kick in comparison. The difference was EXTREMELY miniscule, but enough to knock it down a star in the performance category. I bought mine the week that it came out, so it didn't have a plank kit or anything. I hear that will fix any problems that I had.
It was a great gun, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.

I was never a fan of Pe (always Bl). When I traded my creed for this marker I was blown away. I was getting around 11 pods off of a 68/45 filled to 4000. Something about the trigger makes it seem like it shoots faster (not kidding, my average 15 went to 19 in Semi). The maintenance is simple like most poppits. Its also not as loud as previous models
