The latest Ego from Planet Eclipse. Completely redesigned solenoid. Now without QEV's! Supposedly faster, and more efficient than previous Ego's. And the 09 has the most aggressive milling to date.
awesome reliable performing marker. Efficient and works awesome all the time. Early issues with plank kit needed.

Overall it was a good marker but not much of a performance difference to a 7/8

I have owned this marker for 2 years now and have never had a problem. I've never chopped even the most brittle of paint and this gun is rediculously efficient when it comes to air. I can literally put a case through the gun with no problem on one tank of air (4000psi hot fill on 68/4500). Gone through 30+ cases so far and has always worked like a charm. Maintenance on this gun is a breeze. I have only taken the gun a part to lube the rings and bolt once since I've owned it, and that was within the last week or so. Like others have said, you can practically wipe this gun down after every game, put it away, and its ready to go for the next time you play. Definately a great gun to have in you arsenal.

I bought my 09 a year ago from a teammate. He preferred his 08 over it and wanted to get rid of it. When I purchased the marker, it had a Zick2 installed but with the original Zick backcap. The marker seemed very violent and super inconsistent. I was quite disappointed as my Mini outperformed it without a question. When another teammate shot it, he immediately recognized something was wrong. So I started looking into it and found that the back caps were mixed up. I put the original Zick back into the marker and gave it a fresh o-ring rebuild and haven't looked back. The marker performs flawlessly. The only time I have had trouble with breaking paint I was using junk paint and was experiencing barrel breaks with the stock barrel and a DW with a .695 insert.
Things I like:
Smooth shot
Trigger is easy to walk and adjust to my liking
Board is easy to program and navigate with the LCD screen
Comes with everything you need and an awesome manual
Things I didn't care for:
My board has a glitch in it that won't allow it to fire above 15bps. Have tried numerous steps to get past it including calling Rhode Island to speak with Gerry Bates and it can't be shot above 15bps. The marker performs amazing at 15bps or below, but I don't like having a Ferrari that I can't open up once in a while.

Accuracy im gonna give that a 10/10 jes cuz its improved so much over the couple of years the ego has been out. its not a dm but i think it will get the job done.
Conclusion all in all this is a super marker you wont be disappointed if you get one. its really reliable and i feels its got every thing you need in a tourny marker. but if i had one cmplaint it would be the price when they first come out but then again its not stopping me from buying one.
