Apperance - Compared to some of the other mechanical markers out there this marker is deffenitally one of the better looking ones. The paint on the marker is solid and doesn't chip easily when sliding in gravel.
Preformance - For a cheap mechanical marker this gun shoots amazing, but you must first upgrade from the stock barrel. The stock barrel that comes with this gun is completly garbage and you would have less spread shooting with no barrel on the gun at all. Once you've upgraded the barrel this gun will be one of the if not the most accurate mechanical marker you have ever shot. One down fall to this bad boy is its weight but you get what you pay for and its not like this gun costs a arm and a leg.
Reliability - Like stated above this marker is built like a tank and i wouldn't doubt that you could drop it off a two-story building and it would still work fine. This was the first marker i've ever owned and the only one that I have never had a single problem with.
Value - This is hands down the gun to purchase if you are new to the sport. It will out shoot any of the tippmann and pirhana low end markers and cost around the same price. The only con to the value is you MUST spend money to upgrade the barrel.
This is a great entry level gun. If you are new to paintball and don't want to spend a fortune on a marker buy a TL-R!!

i bought it from a friend for 30 bucks plus repairs. its a sleek looking gun and shoots great. its built like a tank, i've dropped it, landed on it, and tossed it a few times and still shoots and looks great. uprades i would recommend would be a 16" threaded barrel, an elbow feedneck, and if you want an E-Trigger. i also added a laser sight just for giggles. XD

Kingman Group Spyder TL-RI have had the TL-R for a while, and it looks great and has terrific accuracy and power for the price
I would add an E-Trigger and a threaded barrel, but other than a longer trigger pull its AMAZING

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is starting out paintball. I use it as stock (as it is out of the box) and it has been fine. It has had problems a couple times on the field, but it was free, and it is generally cheap. It shoots well, accurate, hurts bad, and is a good gun to get you started.
