Smart Parts Shocker I believe this marker was far ahead of its time. The SFT changed the size of the modern day marker.

Cons: age of the gun
I've been shooting shockers for years and I've also had numerous other guns. Out of all of them I keep coming back to the shocker for its performance and simplicity. It shoots like no other gun and with the range of upgrades and spare parts in the b/s/t I can customize it any way I like.

Also, SP guns have the best how-to site out of any other gun.

This website will tell you everything you could want to know about any SP gun

Long time SP fan and owner of all SP guns but this is the nicest by far. I've owned many SFTs & NXTs throughout the years and as long as you maintain the vast amounts of O-rings & lube them correctly this gun will exceeded your expectations for a gun from '03.

I highly recommend replacing the following stock parts to improve the performance of your marker.

-Stock board for {Virtue board}
-Stock reg for { CP mini reg}
-Stock non clamping feedneck for {any that clamps}
-Stock AA barrel back for {Freak back}
-Stock bolt for {Bolt w/ v.3 spring mod}

With the upgrades listed above your marker should keep up with the best makers on the market.

the sft shocker is a great starter marker if well maintained. But it needs an aftermarket bolt and a spring mod done to it to make me want to shoot it. It has a very small profile and gets the job done any day of the week though!

Upgrades on mine were.....
virtue board
ccm RIP body
high efficiency bolt (great upgrade)

From the first day i got my shocker i loved it. It worked right out of the box when i bought it brand new and never had a single problem. Shoot's extremely accurate compared to my old ion, and my brothers Dm6. The one upgrade I would recommend would be the high efficiency bolt/kit. At first the shocker was using air like crazy, i needed a fill every two or three games. afterwards it really doubled the efficiency. It also stopped kick.

If you want a good tournament gun thats extremely reliable, this is your gun.
