Pros: Comfort, Ventilation, Padding, Bounces!!!
Cons: Price
I don't know how long this thing has been out but it's definitely one of the best inventions in paintball ever. If this is really tournament legal like the website claims it is, it shouldn't be. I've used this for three days of paintball playing so far, and have gotten at least a bounce or two on it each day I played. I this last saturday alone I got three maybe even four bounces with it.

In addition to bounces, the padding really prevents that headshot paintball sting (you know when it normally feels like a marble just hit you in the head). The cap comes in several colors, and also several sizes which makes for a good fit. I wear it backwards so the bill can protect the back of my neck in case I get bunkered (and it's just more comfortable that way too). At first I thought I would be melting in this cap, but it's very breathable (of course not as much as a headband, but definitely more than a beanie and provides more protection/padding than both). I've put it in the washing machine (using a cap washer) three times and it has shown no signs of fading, fraying, tears, or rips.

The only drawback is this hat is definitely expensive...almost $40 after shipping costs. But it's possibly one of the best purchases you can make. Everytime I've worn it, people were asking me where they could get one.

Pros: see review
Cons: see review
pros:
-offer great protection, cover from your forehead to the back of your head
-protect your back neck from the sun
-machine washable (i washed it 4-5 times and it still look new)
-comes in different colors
-not as expensive when you compare to 25$ and + for sandana

cons:
-appearance may be not as good as a bandana but I prefer this cap
-it breath but it's still hot when you play the whole day with it when it's 30 outside
-your mom

this cap is a great protection, I've got many hits on the head since i have it and it doesn't hurt and the best of all you don't have that big "bumb" on your forehead the next day at work :-)
plus i always liked to play with a cap so i wear it "backyard"

buy it, try it and keep it!

Pros: bounces, keeps headshots from hurting
Cons: Makes head look huge, original caps were tight
I have one of the original runs of Turtle Caps.

The thing does EVERYTHING you could ask it to: bounces from headshots, makes headshots not hurt, visor shields your neck from the sun, internal lining and vent holes make wearing the padded cap in summer bearable. If you wear it like a baseball cap you will look like you ride the short bus.

My ONLY gripe is the original run of caps was a little on the tight side, even if you got the jumbo size.

I would very much like to try out the new run of caps, as I still look favorably at the one I currently have (as well as other Hundredth Monkey products).
