The ION had the most effect from the barrel i have it set at 120lbs to reach 270fps (our field speed here) now I'm running at 90lbs of pressure. Over all there was and improvement in air and accuracy. I am very Impressed with this barrel.
The barrels it was tested against was my freak kit and my empire 2 piece.

Furious Paintball Lotus BarrelBest barrel I have shot by far, I shoot this over any barrel I have. Crazy accurate and light, looks so nice especially the finish inside the barrel.
It is very light and accurate but would be more accurate if it had a longer control bore it would be better.

Furious Paintball Lotus BarrelTry lot of barrels but I think furious is the one that I like the most. 17" is a good choice for back player. Try it and enjoy playing with it!
Comes in smaller bore sizes for the smaller paint. It shoots through breaks like the old J&J ceramics.

I bought one of the original releases in 07. Absolutely fell in love with these barrels. They are light, come in multiple sizes and are not loud and do increase air efficiency marginally. The most important part the ball on ball ability across a tourny field.
