I have the Red/White/Blue 2008 LTD's if anyone has seen them. They are pretty hot on the field and I turn heads whereever I go. As for preformance, they are nice and think for sliding, paint comes off great, and they have many nice features.

i have the 08 Contact pants and i really like them. i got them off craigslist brand new for 40 dollars. theyre super comfortable, not hot, really durable ( it took me tripping and slamming my knee on a rock for them to get the tiniest hole in one of the thinner mesh joints) i like that they have a cloth sewn in the pocket though i would like the openings to be a bit bigger, getting my barrel sock out is a pain sometimes. other than that, no complaints, love these pants. also love craigslist!

Empire makes some of the best playing gear I have ever used. These pants are not only sharp looking, but extremely durable as well. The knee pads are still good after 2 years of continued use both indoor and outdoor. The pants have plenty of room inside for even big guys and the straps allow you to gain and lose weight without having to buy a new pair of pants often.
Ever since switching to Empire pants, I have never worn another pair. Good stuff!

I got these pants not that long ago here on the nation and I must say these things are very comfortable (heck I fell asleep in them the first night I had them). The padding is pretty good on the and the lumbar support in the back is also very nice. Overall these pants are a great buy at the current value.

Bought these pants a little while ago from a buddy, played with em a few times now. These pants are beyond comfortable and boy do they hold up well. The best thing about these pants though is the massive **** pad they have. If you get shot in the privates, it will not hurt that much at all!
If you can get a hold of these, they are an amazing pair of pants.
