Pros: Great feel
Cons: Price
This is by far my favorite aftermarket trigger of all time. The combo spring and magnet this trigger gives the best feel and adjustability out there. Anytime I come back to Dye guns this is an absolute must have to get the most out of my time with them.

While the price may be a little steep it is well worth it and it practically changes the entire gun in terms of feel and performance. Much easier to walk and can be fine tuned for either a real snappy pull to a smooth and buttery return.

Pros: LOTS of adjustments, easy to walk.
Cons: Not much.
Had a VP Scythe on my ul frame (dm5) when i picked it up and while i love the Scythe because it's the lightest trigger i've ever had (on any gun, except my Ion, which also had a Scythe), it doesn't have some key adjustments that i felt it needed but the Critical trigger does have (namely, adjustable return length). The Scythe was also missing the pull length adj. screw.

Installed the Critical trig, went out, everything worked ok. Then one day my gun wasn't registering trigger pulls. Found out one of the adj. screws had become loose, resulting in the trigger not even hitting the microswitch. So i re-adjusted it. Later on, it backed out again. I finally wrapped the tiny set screw in teflon tape and that fixed the problem.

Pretty much the trigger rips. It may not be super light but it's super smooth and has every adjustment i could possibly need: pre-travel, post-travel, switch activation & tension adj. (the screw that's repelled by the magnet).

The only legit downside is probably the post-travel screw - on my dm5, there's nothing for the screw to touch, rendering it useless. There's a gap inside the body for the 'noid and this screw pretty much sits right in that void. I'm assuming on dm6's & up, there's some actual body mass right there for the screw to contact. Thankfully, the switch activation part of the trigger also serves as a post-travel adjustment. It's odd but it works.

a very good trigger for the UL frame. I have put one on every UL frame I own. The magnet makes the return of the trigger very crisp.

The adjustment points let you set the trigger so it depresses the microswitch just enough to fire your marker and then let the magnet return the trigger to home. I have lost ball bearings from stock triggers but have had no problems keeping the ball bearings in my critical trigger.

I think overall a trigger is a personal preference. Personally I can use about any trigger and be just fine. With that being said, I do however prefer this trigger over the stock UL trigger. It just feels different for sure, but to me, overall it feels better.

One thing I do wish is that the trigger would have had included instructions for installation. I didn't find it to be too hard, especially after I looked at a few threads here on the Nation. But it would be nice to have some included, or atleast a video online or something.

Overall, this trigger is awesome! I definetly feel faster on the trigger with this trigger. All personal preference but if you're looking for something different, this is your trigger!

Pros: Smoothest trigger ever, looks awesome
Cons: i didnt get one soon enough
I bought a PMR UL Frame Critical and threw that trigger on and bam, like magic, i was in love! it was the smoothest (feeling and shooting) trigger ever, they are rounded on the edges so its the most comfortable trigger you will get. i couldnt help but to pick the gun up and walk it in semi just to hear the noid click! made my semi ROF go up a couple bps atleast...i could shoot around 14-15 w/ my shocker ndz trigger, but the critical i could hit like 18 with very little bounce on semi! if you are looking for a new trigger it is well worth the money!!
