Overall Review- My first reaction to this gun when i got it was that it was a really really good gun, Boy was i wrong. If you want this gun to keep up with all the other markers at the field you will have to upgrade everything, and i mean everything. For instance i have upgraded my board
(Ape Rampage), my ASA (Empire Nano on/off ASA), my Trigger
(CP Sling Trigger), my Feedneck (Hybrid Headlock Clamping feedneck, the stock one sucks), my bolt (Shockteck Superflt Bolt), my Barrel (CP .693 Classic 1-piece Barrel), and this last upgrade is optional
(CP Micro Drop Forward). Once you have all of that stuff you will smoke every one on the field. I will say that it is really reliable (because i take good care of it, change all the o-rings and lube everything after im done paintballing)

Pros- Changable body, Very upgradable, Good for the price.

Cons- You have to take it apart to access the bolt, Horrible Board, Horrible Feedneck, Horrible Barrel, Crappy ASA.

Performance (Stock)- When i first got this gun i thought it was a beast
(i was new to paintball), now i know its not (well now it's upgraded hehehe, but don't mind that) this gun is probably equal to a Proto SLG, You just wont get the same BPS. As i said earlier if you are looking to by an ion you wanna upgrade every thing. If i were you, I would look around to see if you could buy one that has the upgrades, like mine, or close to mine befor you by a brand new one then spend another $250-300 like a did (Bad Mistake).

But lucky for you all that are interested in buying an ion mine is for sale and i am looking Between $250- however high you want to go. Feel free to pay $350 lol

Shoot my an email at Quicksilver-dude@sbcglobal.net with you offer and i have a link to a video of my ion below

this was a gift for me a year ago. the feedneck and asa are MUST UPGRADES, atleast in my opinion. i have a cp direct asa and a q-lock on it as well as a warrior trigger, firebolt, and empire grips. for 200(now 165) the ion is a great deal. not to mention the stock barrel is pretty accurate.

I have had the gun for about 2 months now. I just had to get it upgraded it was fine and every thing but i just needed some upgrades.

The first was a CP on/off ASA. Really good i luv it it is so awsome.

NExt was a hybrid no rise clammping feedneck. Hreat low profile nad doesnt get in the way with the hopper

Cp shorty reg.
Black Macro line\
Conversion kit

I luv the conversion kit. So easy and fast to clean. You dont have to go threw all the screw and breaking the bored nop. JUst take out the bolt sleeve push the bolt out with your finger and lube. SO EASY

I also got Green Virtue Eyes, and a BLACK CRITICAL TRIGGER.

To all of u out thier wondering why ur ION is wasting a whole tank in just 2 hopper fulls. Just set ur Dwell ask around. I have my rate of fire at 16 and my DWELL at 40 now i am gong to change it so

This gun all around is great nto 1000.000. Like osme guns Like the Etk Ego And the SP Shocker NXT
