Pros
-shoots very fast (even on semi) and very accurate (better than any spools)
-no microline, air chamber.
-easy to hold, lightweight, sexy body milling
-loads of programming modes
-on a 68/4500 you get about 1400-1600 depending on your fine tuning.
-super fast and easy maintainence, magnetic eye plates and pullout boltguide
-able to depressurize the marker by pulling the bolt guide
-the voice module is great for programming, no need to memorize the colors and blink time. BPS counter is a great gimmick as well. Too bad they didnt thought of FPS counter.
-comes stock with a 2piece 14" Luxe barrel compatible with the Freak inserts.
-Lithium Ion batteries- fantastic. Full charge and give abt 20000-25000 shots. 45mins for a full charge. And they come with 2.
Cons
-Position of the fill nipple. It sticks outs too much and it pokes your wrist.
-Not a big fan of max-flo. They should have designed an air thru ASA so I can detach the tank for easy carrying.
-Should have come with a complete barrel kit, at least with all the inserts and a 16" tip for the price we pay.
-The box could have been better. Now with my tank on,the box becomes a deco in my room rather than a functional carrying case. (mind you we paid alot for it =D)
-The grips seem to wear quite fast...and since its a LUXE grip means no aftermarket grips for it, yet.
-You only can use the Li-Ion batts. And its quite hard to change the batteries in, gotta unsrew the speakers.
-The 'joypad' for the programming is quite hard to press to access into programming mode.
Overall- This is the most amazing marker ever. Period.

-not great on air
-asa's sometimes have silly little leaks
-eyes are a PAIN to replace
Overall it's a great marker. My favorite spoolie type marker of all time.

DLX TECHNOLOGY LuxeLove the Luxe only thing that bothers me is that it's 1,650. That's pretty expensive for just a paintball gun. But, if money is no issue this gun will be good for you.

I am very impressed with this marker so far. Definetely, without a doubt the best marker I've owned. The gas-thru grip is nice because macroline can get annoying sometimes. I wanted to address the fact that you DO NOT need to buy a special tank! All you have to do is take the regulator off of your tank.
The magnetic eye covers are extremely efficient, as well as the easy removable bolt. I think this is a great gun for the value.

I didn't buy one, but I had the opportunity to shoot one for half a day. I wasn't really all that impressed. It shot like a spooler. It was fast, and very lightweight. I liked that. The macroline-less part was nice, but it reminded me too much of Tippman's last attempt at a tournament marker. The milling was smooth, no machine marks anywhere or sharp edges. The anno was flawless as well. The QC that went into this marker is top notch. For the price, I think they could've gotten a little more exotic with the milling. I shot this marker without being told the price of it. I'm sure the guy letting me shoot it, and trying to sell it, felt that once I shot it I'd sell my first born for it. To be honest, it didn't shoot that much different than any other high end spooler. The magnetic eye covers were nice, but I'm not sold on tweaking a few items on a standard platform and calling it revolutionary. Same thing with the BOB. They don't lie. You can pull the guts out of this gun in a flash without tools. Again, small tweak to an already standard platform and calling it revolutionary. Efficiency was pretty good, but not Droid good. But then again, not much is gonna be Droid good other than a Droid.
I wanted to address the talking board in a separate paragraph because it was something that irritated me how hard the owner/seller was trying to push this gimmick. I turned the marker on, and it went through a start up, told me battery status and what mode I was in. Neat, but not necessary. But apparently this is why the marker costs so much. I was told to change some settings on the marker so I can "get the full use of this revolutionary innovation." Why? Don't the companies put massive amounts of R&D into their products to find the best settings and make those the stock settings? Changing firing modes would be the only reason I can see this being used, but my question here is, when would I need to not take my time (and counting to what, 7 on most boards?) in changing the fire mode? On the field during a game? If this is the selling point of the marker, I'm not truly impressed.
The price tag on this IMO is not worth it. Maybe if they were to put this out at around $700-800 but certainly not $1500-1600.

DLX TECHNOLOGY LuxeThis marker is absolutely phenomenal, it shoots great, looks great and feels great. The only downside is that the bolt sticks very badly until it is broken in.

I bought my LUXE 2 months ago. The only problem i really had with the gun was that you had to buy a new tank. I really loved the gun i Put 7 cases of paint though it so far, and i havnt had to clean my barrel once. no joke. If you can buy this gun for any cheaper than the retail price, do it. I love the magnetic eye plates. Iv been shot there and they have not fallen out. The Cleaning of the gun is estremely easy to. the bolt just pops up and out. Its about as easy to take out as the angel a1 bolt. The gun comes with a .693 barrel and is extremely accruate. Trigger is nice, smooth and easy to walk. Overall great gun.

i had one of the first polished black luxes when they first came out.was a fool and did'nt keep it.just recently had the chance to buy a brandnew maxflo edition luxe nib for 1200.00,so i jumped on the deal.i am very glad i bought this gun.i have been playing for 10 years now and i can say out of all of the guns i have shot this takes top honors.it shots better than any spool valve gun on the market.it is hard to explain how this gun feels when you shoot it.it just feels like an extension to your body.when shooting any of these highend guns its all about the feel of the gun.the luxe is by far the most comfortable gun to shoot.and no other gun manufacture has better cs than dlx.imo the luxe is worth the money.
