I purchased this item new from eBay , I figured it was a good alternative to spending 50+ on a pe pops or bl cam .

In the packaging was the asa , four orings , three to rebuild the asa and one for your tank , and a proprietary tool to undo a retainer ring in order to swap out the orings . Its made very well , solid aluminum machined housing and machined brass internals .

Out of the box it did not flow properly which I figured was do to its age/old grease . I undid the macro line and let it flow into the atmosphere . After a few seconds of manipulation of the on/off it sprung into life and worked as it should. Since then Ive put at least 5 tanks through it without issue .

While scouring the web for another bleeder for my S6 I came across this link , based on the poor reviews I felt compelled to make one . I also felt compelled to disassemble the on/off and re-grease the seals for preventative reasons, being the horror stories stated above this review got me shook up. Very simple internals , three orings two collars , and the on off shaft which is the only moving part . The said collars are different thicknesses , and if installed in the opposite orientation as intended will lead to leaking from the bleeder when in the off position with the tank seated . If you do disassemble make sure you put it back the way you took it apart . Don't f**k it up and have to switch em like i did haha .

Much like anything else in the paintball world a dry or damaged oring is a leaking one . Keep your seals in good shape and this thing will work well. I find it to be a great value , with the only downfall of being a bit unforgiving to a left handed user , if you have the mind it shouldn't be an issue ( I accidentally degassed once or twice during play, being mainly a left handed shooter )

In closing like .

I bought this thing in black about three weeks ago.I got home and put it on and I aired it up. Well I went out in my backyard started shooting and it started leaking. For a couple days I was messing with it trying to get it to work but I ended up taking it back to the store I bought it from and the guy gave me a new one. I go home and aired it up. Started shooting it and it worked fine, until when I pushed the button in to turn the air off it blew the oring off my tank. Put a new oring on the tank and started shooting it again. After about a 100 paintballs shot it starts leaking and my tank drained all the way out. I tried my other tank and it was leaking bad still. I now will not even try to get another one cause they are the worst asa I have ever used. Suggestion, do not buy it!

Hybrid Technologies Bleeder Push Button On/Off Great idea but needed to be improved. The orings would blow out on me and it was hard to take the tank off sometimes. I would say its okay but use with caution. I was always afraid of its reliability.

While this on/off looks great on certain platforms, 90% of the time it will leak. The push button chews through o-rings like a crackhead with crack. I could only ever get it to last 1 day of play before I would have to change o-rings again because they were so chewed/deformed that it would do nothing but leak. Avoid at all costs.
