Pros: Easy to handle, low maintenance, fun to shoot
Cons: Inaccurate, heavy recoil, heavy
The Spyder Rodeo was the first paintball marker I owned. It was given to me at the age of 11 by my parents and therefore I do not recall the exact cost. If you manage to find one (likely only online now), they would probably go anywhere from $20-50. You should not pay more for one.

One of the most appealing things about Spyder markers is their ease of use. They are extremely low-maintenance. They are cheap. They are extremely durable. From my experience, the Spyder Rodeo is every bit as durable as any Tippmann I've ever owned. You get what you pay for with this gun: a quality bargain-brand mechanical gun that will withstand pretty well whatever you put it through. This is not an Ego.

Positives:
+Currently very cheap
+Highly durable
+No maintenance required (excellent gun for BRAND NEW players)
+Loud, fun to shoot

Negatives:
-Inconsistent shooting
-Sometimes inaccurate
-Very heavy
-No eyes (breaks paint)
-Stock barrel is terrible
-Blowback makes rapid-shooting a non-factor at any range
-No longer in production, parts are hard to find
-Awkward vertical feed neck
IN GENERAL the stock Rodeo needs a lot of work to be brought up to any kind of standards today

Price paid: $75.00
Pros: Very user friendly, simple, well equiped, cheap
Cons: stock barrel, big trigger frame,
Well, This was my first marker I ever bought and I still have it as a back up.

Pros: This marker is reliable as the sands of time, The whole gun comes apart in 3 minutes and if you break a ball out on the field-the bolt comes out in 10sec for cleaning, Has some milling, factory equiped with: in-line reg, expansion chamber, pressure gauge, velicosity adjuster. Lots of aftermarket, cheap to buy. Otter Customs can show you lots of free tricks to really wake these up.

Cons: vertical feedneck, The stock barrel is trash, trigger frame is too big, not the best performer on the field at stock level, Not made anymore, Lucky to be able to sell it for $50.

All together this is a good and cheap first marker for players new to the game. With some upgrades these markers can keep up. I rock mine on the field all the time when I want to feel old school, it's awsome and I don't see alot out there anymore.

This is what I did to mine:
I half-blocked my gun and cut the aftermarket bolt down.
Used Spyder Rodeo:$75.00
Kingman Electirc frame:$65.00
Anti-chop Delrin bolt:$23.00
Shocktech spring kit:$8.00
Clamping feedneck:$20.00
One piece J&J ceramic barrel:$35.00
Total:$226.00 and 15bps all day long and more reliable then my cocker.
