Appearance: These speed-feeds are available in a ton of different colors. This is really all I can take into account for appearance (I mean its a speed-feed ). 5 Stars
Performance: Generally these speed-feeds work great, but if you are a player that makes tough dive or slides be prepared for a few paintballs to pop out of the top of your hopper while using the speed-feed. Paint can also come out while sprinting (it's not alot but should be accounted for). 4 Stars
Reliability: These speed feeds will wear out over time due to the soft material they are made out of. I have not personally experienced but have played with friends that have. Again, 4 Stars
Value: In my opinion these feeds should never have retailed above $10, but paintball is an expensive sport and most of the time your going to get what you pay for.
All in all I would recommend this speed-feed if you need an old school speed-feed for a halo B or empire B loader. Good product Virtue!

The virtue crown comes in a soft cap and an ultrasoft cap. The soft cap is the one that you want, the ultrasoft will bend down over time and although it still works it does not hold the balls in as well as if it's not bent down. When you load you just push your pod into the flaps and it will push them down to allow gravity to easily fill your hopper up. I used this on a halo for multiple years without any problems except the ultrasoft being too soft. When you buy it you get the caps and a ring that holds it on. I did have a couple of times where the ring got shot and the crown would come off, but that was never a big deal, I would just pick it up and re-tighten it.

Price, basically a glorified garbage disposal feed
First off I would like to say that this is by far the best speed feed out right now, and definately the only one worth paying around $20 for (still not worth it but hey).
I have used both the standard and the ultra-soft and personally ended up sticking with the ultra-soft. The standard does what it says (keeps balls from falling out) but was also rather difficult to load. The ultra soft loads very fast and I found ball loss to only occur in very agressive dives.
The design minimizes debris entering your hopper yet is still fairly rugged in design (as opposed to the Feed Fast system which rips after a couple weeks of use).
Overall I was very impressed with the product. It is still only a glorified ghetto feed (cut garbage disposal), but is still worth a purchase and is definately the best speed feed type system available. $25 is still a bit cheap for these products however so whether it is worth it or not is arguable at best.

Played using the regular lid on my Halo to using a ghetto speedfeed made from a garbage disposal gasket to using a legit Speedfeed (gen 1).
The ghetto feed worked ok (resembled the MacrolineGuy ghetto feed). I tried to improve the design but eventually messed it up. So i replaced it with a Speedfeed. Worked about the same, just differently. But usually there'd be a few balls that didn't make it into the hopper, just sat on top of the Speedfeed and/or fell out.
Finally, i picked up a Crown at a local shop. They didn't have any regular ones, which i wanted, so i forked over the extra cash for an Ultrasoft. And now i'm GLAD that's the only ones they had!
This thing is so easy to load. No kidding, paintballs just drop right in. They advertise that there's a small chance some balls can come out during games but as a back player, i don't often run into situations where that could happen. So this works great for me. Just fyi, i use the extender collar thing.
In between games, when topping off my hopper, i'll have to pour paint in, shake it a little, then pour in more, since the Ultrasoft Crown's teeth don't snap back as well as the standard ones. The teeth sorta just hang there. Not really a problem, more of an observation.
All in all, the Crown has been a good investment for me.

The second time I used the crown it broke on a hard dive, but I was still impressed by how well it kept paint in and kept debris out. The standard version works great with vlocitys since vlocitys are bigger than halos, but it is probably harder to load the standard on the halos - ultrasofts probably work better. Also, the customer service from Virtue made up for the broken crown by shipping me a new one. Just make sure you don't crack the plastic part that clicks on to the hopper. Also the cleaning is so much easier than I thought it would be.
