I bought the Recon 6 paintball vest directly from Spec-Ops paintball for around $70.00. The product description and the accompanying pictures provided enough detail for me to go ahead with the purchase. If you're thinking of buying this vest, have a look at the Spec-Ops website. You should leave with a new vest on the way, or the understanding that this particular vest is not for you.
It comes stock with four pod holders on the back. There is no tank-holder on the back of the vest, nor is there anywhere to put a bladder. There is room to add these amenities in, but I feel they could have been included in the original vest.
The front contains four compartments of differing sizes. The largest is closed with two large plastic buckles and could probably fit a snack item. Other miscellaneous bits such as lube, oil, papers, wrenches, and small tools could be stored in these pockets. Two on each side, they are separated by a zipper that runs between the see-through, olive-colored mesh.
It is relatively comfortable, but for some reason I did not like the way it fit on me. Perhaps I ordered a size two small, but I feel like the vest should be around 5 inches longer length wise.
It is a quality vest, but like a Tippmann, it is meant to be added to.

I gave it average appearance as it's kind of basic but it's definately reliable as I've gone through thorns with no tears. I'd suggest it for the beginning scenario player or the player on a budget. Great pack from Spec ops
