Pros: Super accurate, well made, sweet looking
Cons: Expensive, availability
I got sucked in to this thing because of its sweet looks and rifling. I was not disappointed. This thing is just awesome. It's super accurate and cool looking. It doesn't shoot through breaks as well as they claim, but after 20 shots or so it is back to shooting normally. The only bad things about it are that it's pretty expensive and hard to find. The only places I can find it are Special Ops and the Hammerhead website.

Very well made and great performance. Good buy for anyone that wants to spend a lot of money!

People say that a barrel only adds 10% to the accuracy of the marker, but I got this to replace my flatline on my A5 and my DM8 there a WAY better difference!!! The long ball with my DM8 is insane. Iíd say itís the best barrel for an A5 depending your position of play but totally worth the money!

Cons: not that accurate
I purchase a hammerhead set for my DP threshold. I found the talk about this brand overrated. I must of put two cases through this barrel set and found that medium-longer shooting accuracy stinks. I used three brands of balls (nelson, draxxus, evil). The smaller draxxus worked probably the best but otherwise, not worth the money.

Pros: Well made
Cons: Poor performance with... paintballs
Though I'd like to support a local company, I simply can't. These barrels are not cheaply made, but the design just isn't good for this sport. As the legendary Tom Kaye proved riffling doesn't improve a paintball's accuracy (the shell spins, but the fill doesn't). The internal fins lay waste to thin shelled or oblong paintballs and there isn't enough porting to make these quiet.

I'd simply suggest an eigenbarrel over these.

Pros: resale value
Cons: rifling and paintball don't mix
I fell victim to my own understanding of fire arms.. and forgot that paintball markers are not guns! there are way to many variables to rely on a single bore rifled barrel to really make a difference. It was an expensive lesson, only made bearable by the fact that so many other smart folks out there.. are looking to make the same mistake.. give up on making the ball fly straight. Embrace the curve! Go flatline or apex.. you will be happier (still not happy) it's all relative..

consistency in your marker and uniformity in your balls are what make the difference!

Hammerhead BattleStixx Barrel Kit I bought a full set at Supergame last year. I noticed an immediate improvement in the accuracy over Stiffi, Freak or any other barrels I had with me. These are awesome! They are spendy, but worth it.

Hammerhead BattleStixx Barrel Kit Barrel works as it should and is a must have for scenario markers. I have not had any problems with it and they maintain some resale value. All in all a good investment.
