i was excited when this product came out into the market. it destroyed sales on barrel plugs. who uses barrel plugs anyway?! i think there not even allowed anymore. barrel condems are the safe way to go. its a pretty easy concept. fellow paintball players and my girlfriend just tell me to bag it. couldnt be easier to use. i dont like how people mod them and put stupid stuffed animals on the end like spongebob. however i cant wait for the vibrating GEN IV one to come out in Q3 of this year, now they will be able to keep up with the rest of the market -cheers

First off, let me say that I have used many barrel condoms before, and nothing even comes close to the JT. This thing has everything:
- prevents paintballs from coming out of your barrel if you accidently fire in a safe zone
- elastic string to attach the condom to the marker
- fantastic looks, I get people requesting to hold my marker all the time with this on it
- easy to use; JT really made sure you couldn't go wrong with this thing
Only con I could find with it is that it could use an lcd screen for setup (display how many times you've used it, what time it is, etc.)
Over all, 9.9/10. Highly recommended. Once again, excellent work JT and thank you for a wonderful product! I will get many years of paintball enjoyment out of this!

I needed a barrel condom one day so I bought one at the field. It worked great, that day... Few days later, I went to the field again(with a couple I made and this one), put it on my gun, and the cloth around the elastic band tore on both sides. I was pretty disappointed.

Let me start off by saying that I heard a lot of good things about this barrel sock, but in the end it was truly disappointing.
First of all let me start by saying this - no LCD screen ?!?!!? Are you kidding me. How else will I know how many times I've used it? I figured that all barrel socks these days came standard w/ a screen. I guess the JT barrel sock didn't get the memo.
Secondly, the elastic strap is pretty durable and easy to use. I've stretched it several times putting it over my barrel and it seems to do the trick - so no complaints here.
Overall it does the job but not very well. Considering all the hoopla I've heard about this particular item it really underperformed. Because of that, I would not recommend the JT barrel sock to others, rather I would encourage people to pick up a Empire barrel protector or even an actual sock w/ rubber bands tied to it.

I LOVE this barrel condom/sock.
It has never failed me, it always stays by me, and it keeps me and others safe. I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!
HOWEVER, this barrel condom/sock has a HUGE problem, it doesn't know what to call it's self. I am always torn whether to call it a condom or a sock, so I simply refer to it as a condomsock. If JT could have just named it one of them, it would make life a helluva lot easier.

Let me start by saying that this barrel condom has always been there for me.
From the second the ref says "socks on" at the end of the game, til when he says "socks off" at the beginning of the next, this thing does its job.
The only thing I dont like is what do I do with it during the game?
I tried leaving it on but then I cant shoot.
Once I put it in my pocket but then it blocked my squeegee.
I also left it on the ground but then the ref was like "hey u forgot ure barrel condom" and I was really embarrassed.
Also, this guy once said "hey nice JT USA Barrel Condom/Sock" but I think he was being sarcastic and so I walked away. Thats why I am giving it bad ratings on appearance- if it had looked better he probably would have said something different or without the sarcasm.
