Pros: good price, nice packaging
Cons: filsl arent the best, some bolls were a bit oblong
So I tried Spectrum for the first time this past weekend in rec ball, a lot of people at the local field use this paint so I thought Id give it a try.

Honestly I was slightly dissapointed. The fills were a bit runny and seemed a tiny bit watered down compared to the APX and RPS paint I have used this year. The shells were a nice color and for the most part not too hard but the first few I pulled out to look at were oblong and/or the seem was way off, so one side was 1/3 the size of the other.

I was surprised that with a decent bore match they still shot pretty straight so that was definitely good, they broke most of the time on the other players and although the fill was mediocre, it was visible. The packaging was better than the APX stuff with inner dbl cardboard dividers so the paint was in good condition with no breaks in the case.

I can't say I would buy this again, I would rather get JT Elite for $35 from WalMart or spend $10 more and get the APX from the field or the Valken from my store. For rec ball and practices though this is a good low end paint.

Pros: they fly
Cons: not very accurately
Paint we use at the field, and ought to say, not very satisfactory results!

At first glance the paint seemed to be pretty good bore, the colors were a bit bland however. Even when I bore sized the paint, a good 25%-40% did not fly where I intend them to.

The fill was white so fairly easy to recognize, just not worth it for the price, would rather use empire heat.

X.O. Industries Spectrum Makes for a good practice or maybe woodsball paint. Only down sides are it isnt very brittle, and break marks are not very large.

I have a cure 3 bolt on my ego and really never had problems shooting paint. this is the first paint ive used i had problems with. I usually always buy DXS, but decided to try X.O. (usually buy DXS rec sport for practice) well x.o. spectrum isnt very good, i had about 10 longated (oval) paintballs in the first bag, one had a cracked paintball that once i podded it, it leaked paint, and seem showed and could feel it. Balls therefore a lot of times didnt go on target or veered off... if they didnt break cuase of their size when they were shot down the barrel. i had about 8 barrel breaks in 1000 rounds i used them in. Overall this is really crappy paint... and i will never buy it again.
