well i tried this paint for the first time yesterday night and i was excited because I really wanted to try the XO brand because of their bang for your buck.
Ok so obviously it wasnt the best paint ive ever used. the case i had was probably close to fresh (field paint, they use alot of this stuff) and i got a case and got to my bench. so upon opening the case i noticed they were a little oily. i personally dont like this as i find it can affect accuracy and consistency, and it oils up the inside of your hopper which if you have a rotor its ok cause dissassembly is so easy but i have a vlocity and i don't like to disassemble it. i also noticed some of the balls were slightly dimpled or in some places soft. the seams are also no where near perfect, you could noticeably tell theyre there.
took it to the field and it shot pretty decent. i definitely had a couple that curved near the end of its flight path which bugged me cause i was aiming for a hopper that was sticking out of back left and it caused me to miss my opportunity for elimination, but i was just playing for fun so its ok. the fill is great for a rec paint though and its biodegradable and washes off easily but does NOT wipe off easily, and it likes to cake over pretty quickly. (i was using yellow fill). i honestly think that if you get a really fresh case of this stuff its probably utterly amazing for the price. i mean for 35$ it shot nice. but i definitely did get a couple that curved and they were oily, and a low percentage of them were slightly oval shaped. and the seam is no where close to perfect.
when i got home i did a bounce test and most broke after 1 or 2 drops from 6ft. brittle enough to play with and strong enough not to break in your gun, which is what rec balls should be like. for me they always broke on target so i was very happy with that.
even after this experience though i wouldnt mind shooting it again because for the price i found it performed well and i didnt have any real problems. i will be trying zap cryptic soon at $40 a case and i will write a review on that. they look much more promising though.
8/10

X.O. Industries Spectrumused this paint several times at my local field. spectrum is always very in expensive but the shells are not very brittle. lots of bounces when shooting this stuff, wish the fill was thicker

Overall, good paint, buy it. If you have the extra cash though, buy some Empire Custom Blend or something better. This paint is a little smaller than most paint so your gonna wanna use a smaller bore size or barrel back. Doesn't chop though. Good, reliable, paint.

This is my fields filed paint it is a good paint. It is a little expensive for what you get, but it isn't too terrible. The yellow fill is very bright, but the orange fill is horribly faded! It dimples when left outside and bounces a lot. It is definetly not the best paint for the money!

I like this paint as a good recreation paint. I have an ego 06 and these paintball usually brake on contact and usually shoot straight. These arent the best paint and there is no best paint it's preference. A very good paint for a high end marker is Marbalizer's and i have recently switched to these

inexpensive, accurate, available in most pro shops
Cons:
large seam, sweat a lot
These are rec grade balls, and very good ones for that purpose. They do bounce some because they are best suited for blowback style markers which are pretty hard on paint, but thicker shell means they are better in winter. I was surprised at how well they shot though, they fit my .882 bore a little loose, a pretty small ball. But I was able to hit 4 squirrels in my back yard with single shots from about 30-40 feet, they fly well even with a less than desirable bore match. I paid a high price for them and I'm still satisfied with there performance, so if you need something to go play in the woods with friends these will do perfectly fine! If you live in a hot and humid area they will sweat a lot, so I'd suggest keeping them in the fridge when storing them (mini fridge in my basement is now used for storing paint haha!)

Spectrum....wow, well these painballs were pretty good the first time out, I had no breaks but did have rollouts due to the small size of these paintballs. I only used a bag so I stored the other three in a good place, I know how to store paintballs. So about a month later which isn't even that long I took back ouT to the field and used my new cp barrel with them. They broke so many times that day I couldn't believe it, they broke in my hopper, in my barrel, and even in my pod packs. I figured something might be wrong with my cp barrel so I switched to the stock barrel that it shot so good with and once again it chopped paint like crazy. I think I'm done using this product, did nothig good for me 2nd time out, would use for practice balls though, the price is good around here. 28 bucks. Also I'll just post my setup, 04 prostock pump, empire 2 hopper, 14'' cp barrel, ccm deluxe pump kit, stock reg, 3000 crossfire compressed air tank, check it products Asa, and that's about it. Overall good price for practice balls but wouldn't even use em for recball.
