This is a great rec paint for the weekend baller itl break on impact most of the time and wont give u any barrel breaks. One thing that suprised me is sealed bags keeps em nice and fresh. Lastley it flies super strait. better than the karnage tear i was using
this paint is the only paint my local field sells so i use it ALOT. it doesnt break as much as tournament paint would
its really oily so you'd have to clean you pods/caddie/hopper of the oil more offend.
the dimples and soft spots make the paint curve, but not THAT much its still useful paint.
This is the worst ****ing paint i have ever used and i didnt have a bad batch( we had 3 boxes). it is so greasy my bt didnt even like. it eventually starts to swirl in the air and u cant hit **** 20 feet away if they are standing still (and its not my barrel i have a 16 inch) and thats not an exaderation, it actually happened to me. I WOULD RATHER SPEND 100 BUCKA A BOX FOR DIABLO HEAT THAT USE THIS **** FOR FREE!!!
I have used Spectrum for about 5 years. It is a solid, dependable paint that flies straight and breaks on target. It is far better than the average mid-range paint that you will find in many stores/fields. Comes packed in sealed 500 count bags so bring a twist-tie to reseal any bag you don't use up. Personally I would spend extra dollars for Spectrum compared to other mid-range paints.
overall it is decent paint. My team uses it for practice. it is pretty good, and it doesn't have dimples and has really consistent roundness. It is good for practice paint.
Only real complaint is that it has a tendency to bounce. Had it bounce off a guys lens on his mask before. has nice thick fill and is pretty difficult to whipe
Well, the local shop closed 15 minutes early on me last friday, so i was forced to buy field paint for the first time in years.
First time using any XO paint and the first impressions are pretty good.
Shells looked consistently round & dimple-free.
Fill was a decent thickness for the grade (nice, visible yellow).
I've been overboring lately with a .693 CP 2-piece because i've grown tired of lugging a kit around. Accuracy was good enough.
I paid way more than some other people here but i expect that when buying at the field plus it included entry, which was $10 (friday nights are cheaper). So i suppose the case of Spectrum only cost $45.
So far, Spectrum is better than my usual rec grade paint, Karnage Bite, which i must admit wasn't that great the last time i got a case. One of the balls from the case of Karnage was egg-shaped!! Pretty bad quality control on that one, even if that's the only one i noticed to be not round.
