I tried out a bunch of guns example: egoX, ego08, geo+, dm7, dm9. The SL74 blew them all out of the water. There's a ton of reviews saying that all egos shoot the same and while I concur, the SL just has a different feel. It's hard to explain but when I take aim the marker puts a smile to my face shooting it that the other markers never did. If you can find one in good condition take a chance, it'll easily become your favorite marker.

Planet Eclipse SL74 EgoThe first ego that came with all that PE had to offer, it turned into the ego8 "the workhorse" and still used in events around the world
love my ego wouldnt trade it for anything else love this thing.

Planet Eclipse SL74 EgoThis gun is Amazing! Just make sure you keep the stock board no need to upgrade! The only thing i would do is put a POPS asa on it to make it a cleaner feel!

Bought a Canes 74 this year and have to admit that if it didnt have a very high sentimental value along with the fact that it is in near perfect condition, i would use it as my daily shooter for the rest of this year and the up coming NCPA and PSP 2013 seasons

Planet Eclipse SL74 EgoI've owned 3 or 4 of them now, and although I no longer own one they are IMO the best SL of all time. I'd take one over any new gun, they're light, efficient, and look fantastic.

While the price of the new gun was insane, I picked my Infamous up for a great deal and became an instant favorite. The gun shoots like an ego should. VERY reliable gun, never failed on me even after leaving it sit for 2 years.
