Pros: Durable, work great, and no springs to lose.
Cons: Installation is like a benny hill skit.
Got these for my Ion years ago when the stock rubber nubs wore down to an A-cup. Installation is goofy, since the magnets like to flip over due to the opposing polarity.

At the time, Kila detents were still new, so they weren't perfected. The magnet pack that went behind each detent had removeable magnets, which is a neat idea, but wore out the little rubber coating so the magnet(s) could pop out (not to mention i messed one of them up).

But Kila takes care of peeps and replaced mine for free (even shipped free) with the version now currently available. They've lasted for years now, and i haven't even needed to remove them since then.

Since then, i've had Kila detents on a Generation E Matrix (which i sent in my breech to get free prototypes installed & fitted, it was awesome), a Spyder AMG (they worked well, all i can say), and a 2k5 Timmy. The eye covers that came with the Timmy ones didn't fit well, though, as the bottoms were conflicting with the frame - the covers needed to be shaved a little along the bottom to fit flush. I didn't do that but that's what needed to be done.

Overall, fantastic detents, i recommend them over spring detents or rubber nubs. If i had more guns, i'd get more Kila detents.

Pros: Lack of maintenance, reliability
Cons: Price was a little steep for a few small magnets.
I picked up a set of Kilas for my Ion and threw them in. Installation wasn't difficult; each hole gets 2 little magnets that repel each other. Not too hard, but you have to make sure to keep the polarities reversed, as they want to spin around and stick together.

They've been in use over a year, and I haven't had a problem with them (though they get less use, now that my Angel is up and running again!). No maintenance required thus far, and I don't recall having had a single ball slip past the detents. I've got them protruding as far as possible to catch all the balls, and so far so good!

The price seemed a little steep when you consider that you're getting 4 little plastic-coated magnets. Then again, with all the headaches over double-fed balls I've avoided, maybe not...

I've got a wide variety of markers and pretty much all of them get Kila detents. My first experience with Kilas was on an Ion and I loved how well they were. Now most of my autoockers have a Kila detent on them as they are simple, work great, and never break.

killa makes a wide arrange of support for many markers,

in my case its my alias.

the detents do their job, all while getting rid of the need for springs.

whats not to like?

magnets keep constant ball pressure, while receding when the bolt comes through so youre not wearing them down.

Overall, a good product that I had on my Vice, but they truly weren't any better than the standard detents.

Yes, they're hard to wear out, but so are regular delrin/rubber detents honestly.

The price definitely killed it for me, even though I got them from a friend.

Overpriced for a mediocre upgrade.

Kila Products, LLC Kila Detents These detents definitely add style to your markers. They are very reliable and sturdy. Never really had issues with them. they are a little more bulky than stock detents

Kila Products, LLC Kila Detents Had a set of these for my ego9, didn't work at all. Because they are ramped, I got double feeds like crazy. But, for a cocker, there is nothing better.
