First barrel kit I bought, and it will be the last until I get out of school. Shoots very well in my '05 ego. Durable manufacturing, I'm not ashamed to admit I've ate dirt with it once without a scratch. Locks very tightly and I didn't have it come loose during any matches last season. And it also unlocks easily to swap out inserts. Just an all around really good barrel kit, no complaints other than the fact that the carrying case for the barrel and the inserts is a little bit too bulky for my tastes, but that's partially due to the fact that I don't have a very big gear bag atm. A definite buy if you're in the market for a good barrel kit!

Oh, how I miss my Scepter! This was the one barrel kit that almost had it all. The inserts self-secure when the barrel was assembled. The bores were appropriately long to ensure the ball went where it was pointed. Unfortunately, I didn't have the smaller bores that are almost required these days to shoot tiny paint. This is a kit that, were it to go back into production with the original bore lengths, would be WELL worth owning.
