This marker is probably one of the best ones i have ever had. With what i payed it does everything that i want in a marker. Looks, accuracy, efficiency, weight, and more. I couldn't ask for more out of this marker.i believe that there is almost no marker that is better than the marker that is out there. This marker is truly a work of art!!!!!

The Ego7 is a work horse along with the 05 and 06. The ego works every time and never asks for any thing. You oil it once a month and it works every time. The amount of paint you can sling with an ego per fill is also amazing with in it self. The ego is by far one of the fastest guns on the market and one of the most reliable. The ego will shoot for you every time. Extremly light, reliable and fast what more can you ask for.
The negative
"accuracy" is all in the perseption of the user but I have always felt that the egos do not compare to the dm line of guns in accuracy. The stream they put out is not as consitent as a dm's stream. But it is all in the eye of the beholder. The only other negative I have with the ego is the board. I am not a fan of lcd. Give me a blinking light thats I need to know if it working or not. That and the lcd is hard to see in direct sun light.
Conclusion
The ego is for every one. They might be a bit loud but will work every time they are called upon.

egos are amazing on air and just shoot so nice and just never break.

Planet Eclipse Egoi had a small problem during a tourney we had with less than ideal conditions, it resulted in some bolt stick problems. the problem was resolved with Jack Wood personally and everything was golden.

i had recently bought an 07 ego last year, i played with it for about 4 months and only got rid of it because of a great deal with an 08 ego.
the 07 ego was an overall great gun, it ran smooth and was always working, it required little matinence, and never broke down. PE goes to another level to make there guns look as good as they perform, my personal opinion for the 07 ego is that the only upgrade needed is a zick kit.
the 08 ego which i have only used once, may not look it but it is a complete overhaul of the 07, they have redesigned the grip frame so it is farther into the gun and feels more like an extension of your arm than an actual paintball gun. the zick kit makes a huge difference, and reduces the kick of the ego, but it really doesnt effect the loudness of the ego.
over all the ego is the perfect gun for me, the only downside is the noise it makes and the pricetag, but its all worth it to have a marker that will work when u need it to

Just recently got this marker and it is my current primary. Its very comfortable as opposed to my 2007 Cyborg. Its fast, reliable and its efficient. Not as efficient as the Cyborg, but close enough to warrant the swap. I dislike the stock barrel bore of .693 and find it to be too large for practical everyday use. But with my UL on there, she does just fine. Consistent with the UL, not so much with the larger bore Shaft. Almost no kick while one balling, but more during rapid fire. I have definitely fallen in love with the trigger as well...it suits me perfectly.

Planet Eclipse EgoOk so I have been with egos for awhile now. My Ego 5 is amazing and will complete every need you will have in a paintball gun. The are very efficient so I don't have to look at my gauge every second....
Ok so I have been with egos for awhile now. My Ego 5 is amazing and will complete every need you will have in a paintball gun. The are very efficient so I don't have to look at my gauge every second. They have a low profile so I can tuck in the bunker. They have a long thin grip frame which makes it extremely comfortable. They are very easy to fix and almost never break down. They are pretty fast also. They have amazing regs and are VERY consistant +- 3 at the chrono. They have low kick and you can tune them to you needs.

Well i have had this gun for now about 3 or 4 weeks and its one of most amazing guns that i have shot. and i have shot alot of guns. its a nice small, light , fast gun. Its all you want in one packages. how did planet eclipse did it? i dunno but its amazing. the only thing i have is my detents are almost gone ( my fault for messing with the gun and such alot like dry fire) and the bore size the barrel comes in with (693) but its a great gun to play with. great on air i get about...i dunno but im a back player and waste mucho paint and i only have to fill up my 68 45 once in a while

Before i get started i would like to say that this review is for an 07. I opened hte box on x-mas day and was like !Its an awesome looking gun, but i prefer the sharp angular look o f the 08. I recently played in horrible conditions with puddles all over fields. My ego never gave me a problem. It could be cheaper, but you get what you pay for. Its only competetion is a dm, which has different pros and cons but the same level of performance. In the end it rips.
