Originally made by Odyssey, the Halo B (for belt) has been the most used loader in tournament play for years. This stripped down version has no variable modes or RIP Drive, but both can be upgraded. This model uses eyes to detect paint.

The Halo B. What "was" the king of hoppers, and what was usually met with the reaction "OMG that guy has a Halo B!11!" is now reduced to a cheap alternative for those looking for a good loader. And by cheap, I mean just a few 20s in your pocket could get one. These are fast for what you pay, and reliable too. Other, more new loaders have more features sure, but this guy will load paint all day.
One problem? Eats batteries like they're free or something. But don't let that deter you.. if you want a fast loader for cheap, this is what you get. And there are parts everywhere for these things, and those are on the cheap as well.

Background info:
This was the first force fed hopper I bought, although I had used a couple others before I bought it. I sold it a few months ago and now I use a Magna Drive. I owned this hopper for over a year, and it never broke on me once, it rarely chopped a ball.
Pro's:
- A LOT of upgrades are available for it, you have everything from rip drives, new shells, V35 board, APE board etc. etc.
- Now that some newer hoppers have started coming out (Magna Drive, JRNY, Torque) you can buy one used for "dirt cheap."
- Halo's looks good. They look good on just about any marker you put them on.
- Easy to use
-You can't "accidentally" turn it on without paying attention though.
Con's:
- On the heavier side
- A lot of people say the feedneck and shell are weak, but I used mine for over a year and had no problems at all. This con is just something I have heard, although I HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED THIS PERSONALLY, I have heard of it a lot. Mine took a beating and kept on going perfect though.
-Without rip drive, you have to open the lid and try to force the drive cone backwards with your finger, which is no fun at all in a game.
-Battery life. The battery life is probably 8-10 cases. If the low battery indicator light comes on, change them immediately.
Recommendation:
Read my review and find out if it would work for you, there are many choices out there. I like my magna more, but the halo gets the job done in most cases. Although, I prefer reloader B's over halo b's due to halo's using "eyes" and reloaders using sound activation.

I have owned my Halo B for around 2 years now. There are many great things about this Hopper and some bad things.
Pros-
about 8-10 cases through then the Halo B needs to replace its batteries. A word of caution, when the Halo's low battery light comes on, replace the batteries IMMEDIATELY!
Easy to turn on and off, its easier on paint, its quiet, fast and comes in a variety of colored shells.
Great customer support, odyssey customer support is amazing. They will replace any damaged shells, problems with hopper, and are very easy to get into contact with.
Cons-
The Feedneck on this hopper seems to break after about 6 months of use. Although it breaks just email or call Odyssey and they will help you get a replaced shell.
overall ill give this hopper a A-. It would be an A+ if the shells didnt break after about 6 months.

My feed-neck broke at the halfway mark- I've never had broken paint in it and it even feeds better now.
-There's plenty of upgrades and shells on the market to make your hopper exactly how you want it.
-Overall It does the job.

The most common cons are weight and the shell breaking. Other than that, there are really no problems with it. The 22 bps is fast enough, the weight, well to cut weight, you would lose the performance it has. if the shell breaks, the suicide ones are pretty good
