1. GEAR DRIVE. (Gear reduction makes this the easiest asa to turn on and off.) 2. XPRESS MOUNT. ( Our new mounting system.) 3. LINE BLEED. ( After turning the system off, the asa will bleed any air from the lines.)

Pros: very solid, easy mount
Cons: the on/off
I had one of these a while ago. When mounting it to a frame, it is very solid! The fact that the macroline comes out the front and not out of the side is a nice +. The anno finish on these are high quality. My only complaint is that when you use the on/off screw, it was very finicky. Sometimes it would be to much, sometimes not enough, take a dive and it would shut off. Maybe i had a bad one but i have other preferences after that.

Pros: Macro out front, purge, direct mount=short profile
Cons: Knob slips into off occasionally, expensive
Probably my favorite ASA around. The macro comes out the front, so it never accidentally hits your wrist (not a big deal to most, just personal preference). It is a direct mount so it makes your gun have a nice small profile.

Since it isn't on a rail you can't fine tune the position, but there are several possible positions to choose from. I found one that suited me fine.

My only real criticism is the actual on/off mechanism. It has a tendency to turn off. I got used to checking that it was securely tightened before each game. This problem is associated with any ASA that screws on such as CP, etc. The difference with the gear drive is that it doesn't move so you cannot visibly see that it's not fully screwed in.

My perfect ASA would be one that was the direct mount of the gear drive and the on/off of the cam drive. And yes, the BL victory has that, but it is fixed which doesn't allow for length adjustment.
