First Impression
Looks just like an 08 Ego, except where the logo usually says "Ego8" it says "Origin" in a kinda fancy text...
Pros
What I like most about the 08 egos are that they are SUPER lightweight. They pretty much set the par for what a light marker really is..
Also, these can take a beating at the field and are super easy to clean and maintain. The stock boards are programmable for any tournament needs. Consistency and efficiency are nothing to complain about either.
Cons
Pretty loud. You notice it in an indoor field which is where I used it. Not a big deal considering there are 10 guns blasting at once in a typical game..but I'd imagine a quieter gun would make it a little easier to hear your teammates and the people on the sidelines. Also, its got a little kick to it. Nothing that will mess up your shot, but it's there. Some people like a little pep in their guns, which is one of the main reasons to go poppit over spooly, but I kinda prefer to just shoot laser beams and have a gun that doesn't FEEL like its shooting 290 FPS.
Other info
Overall, this is a great marker. I played very well with it. Now that the 09s came out and you can pick them up for 6-700 bucks...they're definitely a value. You can tell these were made with the xball/speedball player in mind.

Planet Eclipse Ego 2008 Private Label (Vicious, Origin, Etc)I got my XSV Gold Ego8 from Rich Telford himself..... For a practice gun it was almost mint. It shot great and never let me down. The barrel did freeze on me which was common in earlier model 08's....
