Only Hybrid could make grips look great but feel terrible. I cant imagine its all that hard to make grips. Theyre too hard and have almost no give. When you get even a splash of paint on them they become slip and slides. Theyre hard to clean (and keep clean). Theyre just ridiculously uncomfortable. Worst grips Ive ever had.

Pros: Looks GREAT!
Cons: Price & First Ego grips caused problems
Hybrid grips are by far the sweetest looking grips I have ever seen. They come in all different designs and colors. They feel good in your hand and do not slip. The only bad thing is when the Ego grips first came out, they did not come with their own screws and the screw holes were punctured by the stock screws, suddenly causing it to leak and not shoot properly. However, they did eventually put out screws with the grips that were shorter thank the stock screws and did not puncture the solenoid.

Pros: Looks cool
Cons: Heavy, waste of money, not neccesary
This review is for the hybrid ego6 grips

Appearance: I will admit that the hybrid grips are cool looking grips and they look good on a lot of guns. There are just a lot of cons when dealing with them.

Performance: Trying to compare performance of grips is nearly impossible. These were not the most comfortable grips I have ever felt, the stock ego grips are light and very very comfy. I just don't see the point in spending all that money on a pair of grips.

Reliability: I've owned 6 ego's and almost all of the ones with hybrid grips had holes in the solenoid. Like I stated above, I don't see the point in buying new grips. Eclipse sells the stock rubber grips for $16.99 on paintballshowcase.com and they are by far the most comfortable grips I have ever felt and they are cheap.

Value: Well, if you read what I wrote then you will know what I think about value. If you are thinking about buying these grips I wouldn't. I would buy a case of paint or entry. Getting out and playing definetely beats sitting at home on the weekend because you couldn't afford to play since you bought new grips.

4/10 for me.

Pros: LOOKS, Screw Kit included in most
Cons: Not really comfortable
Before 2007, these were definitely some of the hottest Grips out. They look amazing to match your gun/personality. Some of them were not too comfortable compared to some stock grips and other aftermarket grips.

I have had some of these on my Shockers, Ego's, DM's, and Marqs (yes, I have owned all those markers).

For the Shockers, they are definite +'s

For other Markers, I think they are downgrades from the stock grips, especially the Dye grips.

When Hybrid first came out with highly detailed, "customized" gun grips in various colors, accessorizing took on another level.

Previously mainly firearm grips such as Hogue and Pachmyer were seen, and the Hogue Cobblestone texture was designed for tactical use.

I first purchased the Hybrid "Shizzle" Lady panels in grey for my 1999 Angel LED, then BK "Bruce Lee" DM4 grips.

Since then I have picked up .45 grips just because of their originality; the leather "Gunslinger", "West Coast Kings", and old-school "Contract Killer" with the Running Man and a clip of bullets.

Hybrid Technologies Hybrid Grips The rubber on these grips cut into your skin. Do not buy, unless its for a wall piece. Hybrid sure look great but are a pain to use.
