Pros: fast, reliable, easy to maintane
Cons: asa,feedneck, battery change
Appearance: looks good and weighs about the same as an Etek. solidly built and can withstand rough treatment. Grips are quite wide but provide a firm hold even when wet. A bit of a bugger to clean when hit because of the nooks and crannys, especialy around the eye covers.

Performance: The barrel is ok and is a bit on the large size bore wise but for best performance requires a barrel set (cocker threads). The feedneck is rubbish and requires replacing (smart parts threaded feednecks fit). The gun comes without an asa. The board has various settings and is suitable for most tournements. A very good upgrade here is the Tiger code which offers even more tuning options. The gun is fast and works best with a force feed hopper. The trigger is fantastic and one of the best on a stock gun. The gun is quite loud and has a slight kick especially when shooting long bursts.

Reliability: Easy to maintane and the bolt is easy to remove for cleaning. the ball detents are very good and last ages (over a year of playing and still good). The battery is a pain to change as you have to remove one side of the gun although some smaller size batteries fit without having to do this.
The reg is average with varying fluctuations (+ - 10 fps) a good relacement is the CP or DYE hyper 2 which are similar to the original reg in apperance.

Value: Good value for the money. Out of the box a good gun, with a few changes a great gun.

Pros: great looks, ergonomics and layout
Cons: stock efficiency is average, stock board
I got my promaster already upgrade with a ram, valve and board. It shoots 12.5PSP perfectly, is a smooth quiet shoot for a stacked tube poppit marker, it does have nice upgrades available if your willing to hunt a bit and with those upgrades it can shoot just as nicely as todays poppits if not quite as efficiently.

Absolute great marker for someone newer to the game or the pro who likes to tinker and upgrade their marker.

Pros: Nice look, great milling, great beginner price
Cons: No standard ASA, internals
Over all, great beginner gun if you do your homework and know your marker parts. Bought the last gun ever made and it has grown on me. It is a heavy gun compared to other electronic pop-it valves. Love the look but the gun sometimes will randomly leak after a case of paint and cannot fix it or send it to the company to get it fixed do to them leaving the industry.

Go pick up one and play

Pros: cheap, all metal, works good
Cons: clam shell grip frame is a pain, non clamping feed
I picked one of these up from action village when they went down to $250 and with the price tag of an ion this gun shot flawless. I had it for about 4 months or so before I sold it to buy an Ego, but I enjoyed it very much while I had it. I used a CP asa, a CP reg, a CP barrel, and a clamping feedneck and this gun gave me no troubles. I don't think I ever lubed it up during the months that I had it. I would not hesitate to buy one again for fun
