Redz International Dimension Pack I am sad to say I once used a REdz pack. I switched to Nxe and have never looked back.

Cons: Price (comes in 2 parts)
My review is completely unbiased, but, it is required by PbNation that I inform the reader of this review of my affiliation with the manufacturer. My team was sponsored by Redz for the 2005 season.

My team received these packs through sponsorship from Redz in the beginning of the 2005 season. We read about these online and they seemed to please a lot of people and were apparently very comfortable. So, we took them out and tested them as rigorously as we could.

Look - They looked like many packs that i had used in years past. But, the one thing that was new to me that I liked was the full coverage of the pod rather than just a band that held the pod around the middle. They also had a great look with the different colored trimming flowing around the pack.

Comfort - This pack is probably one of the most comfortable packs I have ever worn. The full body style of the pack (rather than the short packs I had used before) gives the user a lot of back support. If you are a back player and use a ton of pods, you will have no trouble because the pack distributes the pressure evenly over a large portion of your lower back. The back of the belt is also very padded. So, even with all the weight of the pods the pack will not dig into your back and cause discomfort, enabling you to wear it all day with out even thinking about it. The next thing is the comfort belt. This is purchased separate from the pack and it is available in a few different sizes to fit the user. Then, each belt has a wide range of adjustability that enables the user to tighten or loosen the back to accommodate their position/style/comfort for that day of play. The belt has two flaps that overlap and are connected with Velcro. Then there are two more quick-adjust flaps (one on each side) that are used to quickly tighten or loosen the pack if it becomes uncomfortable, such as in the middle of a fast paced game. Lastly, the belt is wider which distributes the weight more evenly around your waist rather than in a small area as most other packs do. (so if your getting bunkered you have a greater part of your back protected from those who like to bonus ball) But, this is more pleasing to the back and mid players, as the front players (me) prefer to sacrifice comfort for a smaller more maneuverable pack.

Reliability - This pack has never let me down. I play with this pack all the time and in all weather. Iíve left it out in the rain and blistering sun and all that happened was the color faded a bit. Never had any of the threading come undone, parts rip, or wearing out of the Velcro. The Velcro is just as good as the day I bought it. Iíve been using this pack for over three years now and still have yet to have something go wrong, now thatís endurance. I only use a few pods a game so I usually keep the extra bungee pod holders rolled up and tucked away, and they rarely come undone. But, they do get their fair share of use when I play recball and they are still stretchy, strong, and the pull tabs are all still attached. Also, I never have problems with pods opening on my back. Due to the full pod design the pod cannot move up, so if the lid does come open during a game the pod has no room to move and allow the lid to open enough to spill paint. In addition the padding in the back is still great and very comfortable. Finally, no matter how I dive into a bunker I never have to worry about the belt coming off, the Velcro does a great job of staying together.

Price - The price is the thing that I was disappointed about with this product. It looks like a great price as the pack costs $30. But, the catch is that the pack does not come with the comfort belt. Unfortunately, the comfort belt costs another $30, meaning the complete package costs you $60. I love the comfort and adjustability of this pack but, compared to other packs that come with a belt for less than $30, it is a bit too much. But, there are a lot of paintballers out there that would gladly pay double the price to get the comfort. I do know that there are a few packs that are upwards of $75 but, i feel that any pack over $40 is overpriced.

Performance - The one thing I will include in performance that was not covered elsewhere in this review is that there is never a problem getting any brand of pos into this pack. I have had packs before that would only fit certain pods, which is a pain. Another thing is the spaces for the pods are just small enough to keep a pod in place without the strap (also without movement, once you start to jiggle the pack it immediately falls out) and just large enough to provide ease in removing the pod quickly during a game. This helps those who strive to make their reloading time incredibly short.

I recommend this comfort harness to anyone who is looking for superior comfort, very reliable, and LONG lasting investment. But, I recommend this pack mainly for those who carry many pods such as a back, mid, or dorito side player. As a front player I would not recommend this pack as it is a bit larger and makes it harder to maneuver around in the snake. For the Scenario paintballer I would recommend this pack because it supplies long lasting comfort for those long scenario games. But, I advise getting black, as the bright colors would give you away.

Once again my opinion is completely unbiased and I hope my review is helpful to all readers!

Pros: Very comfortable, easy to clean, well built
Cons: Bulky due to the pod harness backing
Great pack for rec play, can be worn all day without discomfort. The pack does have a larger profile than most packs of the same capacity so that's something to be aware of running around the field, not necessarily a bad thing though. The pack backing is large which keeps it comfortable to wear for extended periods with a full pack. Overall its well built using thick material that won't tear/rip under sane playing conditions. Overall a great buy if you can find one used on the cheap.

I've owned Redz packs for many years, with this one as my favorite. Growing up, playing paintball (16 years) I've always known Redz produces amazing packs, with this one at the fore-front. I could say that I have no regrets owning they're products, including this one. However, maybe the looks of it could be a bit more appealing to the professionals of PBers in the past and to date.

Redz International Dimension Pack I've owned a dimension pack for about 8 years now and still is in perfect shape. The only down side is that I had to replace the belt once because of the velcro wore out after 6 years of use.
