Pros: Sexy, fun to shoot, upgradeable
Cons: Heavy
This review is on a NYX matrix

Appearance: This is one of the coolest looking guns I ever owned. The milling was very unique and detailed. The gun looked absolutely stunning with the all gloss black anno.

Performance: I actually bought this used with no reg or asa, so I never got to shoot it. One thing I noticed was how incredibly easy the trigger was to walk. I have owned many many guns and none of them even compare to this trigger. For a gun made in 2003, I give props to Dye for producing this marker. These things are also heavy as bricks, and they are shaped like bricks too .

Reliability: (Read the first sentence in "Performance")

Value: These might not be the most fantastic tournament marker now, but 5 years ago these were the Dm8s of today. They are very fun to have and they are quite cheap too.

Dye Precision Matrix LED I love this gun it is a little bland. They could have done more with the milling but it's fast and reliable and has little kick!

Pros: I had 3. ALl of them shot really well.
Cons: On the heavy-side, simple milling, efficiency
I had an NYX, an LCD, and an LED. The NYX was the dirtiest, but the most reliable. My LCD shot amazingly, but it was really inefficient. I haven't recieved my LED yet, but I'm guessing it's gonna shoot great, but again, not with great efficiency.

Cons: bulky
Great marker, shoots smooth and is quite fast. as with any marker of its time, its bulky, heavy, and large, but despite those 'problems' its still a joy to use.

i bought mine used here on PBN for a great price. first time out with it (after a quick teardown, clean and lube) i took it on its first scenario game under its new ownership. not one fault to be found. shot great, fairly quiet, got roughly 1100 shots on a 68/45, overall a great marker!

Cons: battery life, air use, many things to upgrade
These are some of the smoothest shooting guns in the world. There are many things to upgrade on them, however, most would consider them a novelty piece. More popular with collectors now than actual tournament players.

Dye Precision Matrix LED Great gun with loads of upgrades for it. A bit heavy for some, but had very little kick because of it. Very simple to use, just on/off.

"DM3" as they have come to be known over the years is my favourite marker platform.

They're incredible smooth to fire, they can be updated to current firerates and modes and with proper tuning they will be smoother than any other 2012 highend out there.
