Pros: Light bottle, good bottle, decent price
Cons: HORRIBLE REG, breaks constantly
I'll be completely honest here, I've never in my paintball life been so disappointed by a product.

To preface this, it should be noted that I had a couple of 68ci older Crossfire bottle that I used with success as well as an 88ci bottle that I used for roughly two seasons of play. I then decided that a 45ci would suffice with the markers I was shooting since I was still able to approach a case per fill, more than enough between games in the NCPA and PSP.

So I had my parents pick me up a new 45ci tank from Crossfire directly for my bday, since they had nothing else to get me. Needless to say, the tank blew a burst disk within the first month of owning it (roughly 100-150 fills on it) and continued to do so for the next two months. By this point, I had been emailing Crossfire attempting to get a response and a solution to the problem. I received a few responses that basically stated that they'd take care of it at events that season, I was at the events, they were not, and they never took care of it after emailing me back the final time stating that my tank was no longer under warranty...great for a 6 month old tank.

The final straw came when the pin and regulator itself blew out while filling the tank, shooting into the table and then into the grass. Not a well made product, and terrible CS was all I saw from this recent tank from Crossfire.

With that all said, they make fantastic bottles, they're light and strong, so I tossed on one of my MacDev Legionair tank regs and haven't looked back since.

So in short, the bottles themselves are fantastic, but I'd steer clear of their regs without a question. Would I buy another one? Not likely, if I could source just the bottle I'd consider it, but there's not much to set these apart from a Luxifer bottle, so its kind of a moot point

Pros: Great tank
Cons: Ring around the top
I used this tank for about 3 years. It was a great tank and performed flawlessly. The only problem I had with it was cosmetic. It formed a dark ring around the top (before the regulator) almost immediately after purchasing. It did not effect performance, at all. I would buy again from Crossfire!

bought a used crossfire tank not long ago on the nation- got it cheap and it's a beater, but still performs great. Only complaint is that the spring that guides the needle in the gauge broke from airplane air pressure- which shouldn't happen to tanks that are designed to be able to be transported on airplanes

This is a amazing tank! i got mine from actionvillage for around $135 in about august. I have put about 20 cases through my gun using this tank and honestly this is the best tank i have ever used. The reg has a amazingly fast recharge time. The size is the best part however. It is so light and compact that it allowed me play much more tighter.
Nothing beats a Crossy!

Cons: Stock Gauge, Maintenance Required
The tank I have is the unpainted style which I personally like the look of, however its nothing special so I can't give it 5 stars in the appearance department.

Performance on the tank is amazing. It works on my Tippmann, it works on my Ego, it works on my Shocker. There is no gun that this tank doesn't work on, and I have never had an issue where the tank couldn't keep up with the gun, even cycling 50cps on the old 08 Ego.

Reliability looses a star for the fact that I had to tear the fill nipple out to replace the o-ring on it, which was a special order type of part. This isn't a *Zero* maintenance tank, but I've never had to service any other part!

Value is amazing. Love these little tanks and am just having it hydro'd so it can continue its lifespan. When this hydro runs out I will likely move on to some newer equipment and would not hesitate to buy a crossfire 45cu/4500psi tank again.

I canít say enough good things about Crossfire Inc. Of course it probably helps that I live in Kalamazoo, MI. Iíve been to the store two times in the last week with a problem with my Ninja 50/4500 tank and every time they have been amazing! While at the store I was able to see their manufacturing process and hold their 45/4500 tank that was still in the final manufacturing process. All I can say is these guys know their stuff. They were able to quickly identify and explain the problems and what was causing the problems I was having with my Ninja tank. Their capabilities with paintball tanks seem endless. Some of the custom paint work and graphics packages they have and are able to put on their tanks are amazing. If you have any questions about what they are doing, how they do it or why they do something ask and they are able to give you the answer just as quickly. The regulators that they build and install on their tanks are about as simple as they get and the idea that less parts equals greater reliability not only makes sense but has been proven time and time again. What they do for your tank if you have them do the hydrotest is pretty amazing too. The whole process is detailed on their website, but rather then just hydrotest your tank and throw a sticker on it they go the extra step of applying the new hydrotest sticker to the tank, and then apply a new layer of resin on top of the entire tank so that there is no way for the new hydrotest sticker to fall off, get peeled off or otherwise get lost. Not only that but with the new layer of resin on the tank any small nicks, gouges or impurities in the original resin get filled in and fixed. Like I said, I canít say enough good things about this company and their products.
