DM7 is the best DM by far. Don't worry about buying the latest and greatest DM11 or 12. They should have stopped at the 7. Shaving a couple ounces off here and there is not a reason to release a new model. I had a DM7 for long time and it was straight up a work horse. The gun never went down. The only con IMO is that if something does go down on one, you have to know which o-ring does what in order to be able to fix the problem. However, I always know the guns I own enough to strip then down and put them back together in the dark, so this was not a problem.

a few months ago i was looking for a new gun and my friend let me use his backup dm7 while i was looking for a new gun and i loved it and ended up buying it from him. when i bought it it came with a critical trigger, virtue eyes, new grip, feedneck, cp flow plug all for 350 it was a great deal. i shot the stock bolt for a month or two and it shot amazing with no leaks and no chops....ever. and the reg was broken in so it was always very consistent over the chrono.

then i started upgrading it, i bought a tech t l7 bolt and that totally changed the gun. it cuts the moving mass in more than half and makes the gun shoot a lot smoother and with kick that is equal if not less than the nt (because of weight). i also bought a lighter empire asa and half-broken in hyper 3 reg with better consistency than the hyper 2.

but no gun is perfect, i do have a few issues with it. first is now the stock board is outdated with a slow processor and limited cap settings for new psp rules. but as soon as i get the cash im buying a virtue to get the customizable modes and faster processor for quicker cycling. also hater makes a very nice board for the dm7. my gun also currently has a leak that i cant pin point but im sure its just an o ring off in size by a little bit. the stock trigger also provides limited tweaking and isnt as comfortable as a "sling" style trigger so IMO a new trigger is a must. also efficiency is a problem for me but that is mostly because of the leak and i have my bolt assembly set up for smoothness rather than efficiency which is no big deal to me.

but overall i give this gun 5 stars for the price i bought it for and the price i got all the upgrades for. its a light little gun that feels great in my hands and hasnt let me down yet. i get prob 2 chops per case of paint and theyre usually barrel breaks from bad paint or a dirty barrel. if u can pick one up cheap and put some money in upgrades in it is deffinitly a great gun that is more than worth it to dye

Dye Precision Dye Matrix 7 (DM7) The Dm7 is a great marker. The gun is smooth and accurate when tuned correctly and will be one of the quietest guns on the field. Also the gun although not the lightest, is very maneuverable.

Pros: all stock is great
Cons: gets beat up easily
i recently purchased a dm7 and i have no compliants towards this marker. it is wonderful, reliable, and gets the job done. this marker is great for smart parts players upping thier game or someone looking for a dye that isnt expensive. this marker can be changed to a dm8 easily and although the dm6 seems similar to this marker i highly suggest the dm7. i have used it for 2 months and its is great. i was happy that i didnt need to buy a new barrel or reg for it. the stock parts are great. playing back i need to have an accurate, reliable marker and this gets my job done. i am in a high school paintball team in the tampa area if you were wondering where i have my expirience from. overall great gun. just watch for scratches on the reg
