Looks - Appearance
This looks pretty good, and comes in a variety of colors. Mine in the Red one which matchs with other parts on my Proto Matrix Rail. Not to much to say since it such a small peice of equipment but it did come out of box with no flaws. It has 2 curved lines on the feedneck and NDZ written on the lever.
Function - Performance
Getting it on is simple, just take off the lever, stretch it a little bit and it goes over the actual feedneck on the Proto Matrix Rail. The clamp is good, exept that there have been about 4 times that it has just randomly unclamped itself and my hopper went flying. I dont know why that was since they were clamped down tight and properly, but it did happen so I will blame the feedneck for it. Other than that it holds it down pretty good. The lever is a little small and kind of sharp on the edges so if you have fat fingers then just be aware of that.
Sturdy - Reliability
It holds up good, alot better than the stock plastic feedneck. My only complaint would be that when you buy this, the screw to adjust the strength of the lever is different, a lot smaller. Plus the allen is not included with the feedneck. Not a big deal for me because I have a kit, but it could be a little annoying for others.
Bang4Buck - Value
It is fairly cheap, I picked it up at NPPL HB for $25, so I wont complain. There are not a lot of other alternatives for the Proto Matrix Rail, but im sure there are some. Overall this is a good feedneck just be aware that you will need a new allen key. Buy this feedneck.
