Pros: Excellent protection, stay in place
Cons: Can eventually begin to tear at seams
I've owned a lot of knee pads in my 14+ years of paintballing. Dye pads have always been my favorites. These are perhaps the best I've ever worn.

Purchased mine new and have used them regularly under C13 pants. Dye is expensive, but in this case well worth it. The padding it absolutely top notch. At 45 years old I can drop to my knees at full sprint, slam into whatever and come away feeling like I'm still 18. The fit is also a bonus compared to other pads I've owned. Most other brands, and even older Dye pads (C4 and older) had to be so tight it felt like they were cutting off circulation in order to keep them from sliding off my knee. These are not that way. They stay in place without feeling like they are trying to squeeze your leg in two.

I am tall and thin (6'3" @ 170lbs) so my legs are smaller than most. I wear a large and they fit me perfectly.

Of all the gear I own, these take the most abuse next to my C13 pants. I cannot recommend them enough. Everything should work this well!

got these pads to use before my first tournament. Held up great over the years and turned out to be a great purchase. Only real downside is the price you pay. $50 is pretty expensive for a pair of pads but you get quality from Dye.

Cons: Not adjustable.
Picked up a pair a couple years ago, right when the newer style came out (the new ones have the fancy splash designs - mine are solid black).

Good budget knee pads since even the newer ones can be found on clearance now. Even though they're not adjustable (just stretchy neoprene), they fit me really well.

Generous padding protects my knees even when i slide wrong (i slide on my knees sometimes, not intentionally). Saved my knees countless times. And they hold up to the stress, too (unless you wear shorts or wear them over your pants ).

Pros: Comfort, Performance, Looks
Cons: Price, Durability
I don't know that I would buy these again. Plenty of Pros and Cons for this particular item. I would look at all options before a future purchase.

Pros - As far as performance and comfort, these things do what they are supposed to do. Very well in fact. I've taken some hard hits with these and they've really saved my knees. You can wear them all day without loss of comfort. Well done Dye.

Cons - A little pricey as with all Dye products. Especially when compared to the competition. Durability is my main problem with these knee pads. The velcro has come unstitched. It will eventually need to be re-sewn or glued to the pads. The rest of the pad is holding up nicely. Keep in mind, I always wear my pads under my pants.

I rate these a 6.5/10. While they offer exceptional performance, quality control is absent from this Dye product.

Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
I used to be skeptical of Dye but have gradually become a big fan of their gear. Even though I like Dye products I still consider many of them overpriced; however that's not the same with these pads. They are absolutely amazing and are priced to compete with some of the other pads out there (unlike their ul stuff which is way to expensive in my opinion). These pads DO run small. Keep that in mind when purchasing, and I highly recommend trying them on in a shop.

Pros: Comfortable, very little sliding, protective
Cons: none at all!
I picked up a gently used pair a Dye knee pads in L/XL size. When I first put them on, I was a little suspicious that they would not stay on my knee very well because they felt a bit loose compared to what I would have expected. They gently hugged my leg, and were very easy to get on.

To my surprise, they hardly moved from my knee at all. After a full day of rough play, only one had slightly moved down a little on my knee. After being used to other knee pads needing to be readjusted almost every game, often time coming completely off my knee, the fact that one of these only slightly moved down my leg after whole day of play did not bother me in the least.

When these need to be replaced, they will be replaced by another pair of dye knee pads

These are the best paintball knee pads I have used. They have tons of padding, are comfortable, and do not slide because of the strap. That being said, they are made by Dye and thus, come with a huge price tag. Overall, I am happy with my purchase.

Cons: Run SMALL
These are great knee pads. They do everything they should and hold in place really well. The only issue is that they run really small. The tightness of these pads is causing my knee issues. I'm told they will break in over time, so I'm sticking with them, but I wish I had gone up 1 size when I bought them.
