i picked this gun up used after they were out for about a half a year, best purchase i made. i upgraded it with a virtue board, kila detents and did the free mods and it was to this date probably the smoothest gun i have owned.

Dye Precision Dye Matrix 4 (DM4)my dm4 is probably the smoothest shooting marker i own. i had mine custom milled so now it looks like a dark and weighs less then stock. lots and lots of upgrades are available for the dm4 aswell....
my dm4 is probably the smoothest shooting marker i own. i had mine custom milled so now it looks like a dark and weighs less then stock. lots and lots of upgrades are available for the dm4 aswell. the air efficiency however kind of holds the marker back in my oppinion. like a hopper and 3 pods off of a 45/4500.

Had this gun for about four years now and had been my number one guns still use it every time I play. Because of all the modifications there was never any need for me to go out and purchase a new marker. Sure over the four years i have had this gun o-rings break and needs new parts like every other gun but for me its only been minor parts like a bolt o-ring and new membrane pad. This gun has been a dream for me best purchase mad in my part so if you can get your hands on one grab it and enjoy it as much as I had for the ups on my i put in a preditor board,fbm blade trigger,orange bolt hybrid grips and invested in a complete rebulid kit.

Im kinda a gun whore and have owned almost every gun, and my dm4 is the best and most favorite gun i have. it has a ul frame, kila detents, and a lucky bolt. it is very air efficient and it shoots ropes with no skipps or chopps. ive owned this for over a year and i play 3 times a week, and have shot more than 200 cases threw it and it has never chopped or broke an oring on the bolt. its very accurate, i just love it.

This the first high end gun I ever fired, it was uber cool looking, and uber fast. After 1 year of playing, I got this gun, it was great, with UL barrel and tag board. I've never shot a gun so accurate and so smooth, this is the best gun ever made, period.
I didn't like that the membranes always came off, and that the grips became kinda sticky, and after the dm7, the dm4 is heavy.
Overall 10/10: I've never shot a gun so smooth and so accurate.

The DM4 is probably my favorite marker ever. It's what got me obsessed with paintball and gave me a lifelong love for dye.
The gun has zero kick, and such a nice sound when it's fired. Easy swap chips can have a number of fun ramping modes. This is a great retro marker for 2012. I'm guessing they will become rare in the near future, so hunt one down while you can.
They also take a beating and work in crap weather.
5 pods on a 68-45 is pretty bad, but hey you can always tinker.

Dye Precision Dye Matrix 4 (DM4)picked one up and forgot how big these things were. but still shoots like a dream but your in for a workout compared to some of these newer guns.
