Pros: feeds fast, consistant, more then you need
Cons: heavy, bulky, only holds 180 rds.
I used a v35 halo b w/ 9 volt mod for a long time. they are good loaders very reliable and pretty sturdy. It always fed as fast as i needed it to. I did move on to a vlo to save on the weight. The halos are pretty good on battery life and with the suicide shell its very easy to clean. I would recommend the halo's for anyone looking to get a nice sturdy hopper that doesn't mind a little heavier of a setup. also if you get the 9 volt mod it will save a little weight.

one thing i don't like is the feed necks would break and you had to buy a whole new shell. (most hoppers are like that) but it sucks when you have to spend 40$ to fix it. It is a good hopper though, feeds faster then you can shoot with out question and it is reliable I rate it an 9.0 out of 10. there is room for improvement and nothing will get a 10 from me because nothing is perfect.

Also another downfall is it is only rated to hold 180 balls. I like the 200 rd hoppers more shots off the break and you don't lose as many with over fill when reloading.

Odyssey Halo V35 With Rip Drive Loved having this hopper when I played, very fast feeding hopper. I liked the force feed compared to the EGG2 hoppers.

The Halo B has been around for forever and there's a reason. for a low price you do get a hopper that can feed 30+ bps. Its rare it ever jams and the rip drive allows u to prep abour 12 balls at a time if you r playing with low (or no batteries). Only problem is to take it apart u need to unscrew several screws to take the shell apart, get to the batteries and the board

The Halo is a very reliable loader. Only problem is with the newer loaders like the Rotor and Prophecy out, it doesn't hold up very well. It is very reliable, has a good feed rate, and once you get the hang of it is easy to maintain.

Odyssey Halo V35 With Rip Drive I have owned a few of these over the years. Always performed great. The only possible issue with them for some people is the feedneck. Usually just shave it down some so it sits lower on the gun.

Pros: Fast and Simple Design
Cons: Batterys and Weights alot
I've only had my halo for a few months but its been very realiable. My friend has a vlocity and i gotta say out of the two in my opinion the halo is the best. Only problems ive had is that in the middle of a tournament match out of nowhere it started to flash jammed and had to shut it off and turn back on im the middle of the game. And I know the whole shell color deal but it was just random happening. Its fast and on the chance you do jam that stock rip drive does come in handy. The magnetic lid makes reloading that much faster when you dont really have to apply alot of force to shut or open the thing and it's easy to program. Out of all the loaders out there today this is definetely one of the fastest and best price. Its no empire loader with sound technology or pulse but for the price its unbeatable. Like is said only problem I have is the amount of batteries you have to use. That big 6 AA battery pack is where the weight problem really lies, if you get a 9V adapter or even a 4AA pack it will really make a difference. Easy to program, easy to use, easily the best halo ever made.

Pros: Looks, Tough, Rip Drive, Fast, Classic
Cons: A Little Heavy, Lid
First let's go to the good parts- The Halo is a really good looking hopper, and has a low profile. One day I was playing woodsball and I shot a Cyclone and an Eye Force, but nobody could hit my Halo. The rip drive also helps a lot, there have been several times that I start a game, and I get to a bunker and remember I forgot to turn the hopper on lol so I used the rip drive until I could turn it on. The hopper can go 35 bps (V35!!!) which is more than enough for anyone, and even though it is fast, it is quiet and very battery efficient. Also, so many teams use the halo that its kind of an icon.

Now to the cons- The Halo is a little bit heavy, but its better than putting a brick on your gun. I think it weighs around 2.5 pounds, but Im not exactly sure. Another problem is the lid... first time I opened it the lid was flapping around evrywhere and clanking and it got annoying, so i just took out the spring, which takes longer to open but it just feels better to me.

Overall, I recommend this hopper to anyone with an electronic gun, and is not as expensive as a VLocity, Rotor, Pinokio, Prophecy, etc...
