The industry standard when it comes to loaders. The V35 has 6 programmable speed settings and uses eyes to determine when to feed. This model comes standard with a RIP Drive.

Just picked up my first halo v35 recently. An all around great loader, I've owned everything from Vlocities, Halo's, B2's Etc. This is most definitively one of my top 3. Good on battery life (I've been using 6 AA's), and is suprisingly fast . The eyes are good, as long as you keep them clean.Only thing that is somewhat aggrivating, is when the batteries are low (or sometimes no reason at all) it will jam. Also, compared to some of the other loaders on the market, it is a little on the heavy side, and doesnt have as much capacity as some of the other hoppers. On the bright side, its easy to clean (just make sure you have a small screwdriver) and is easy to take apart. Its fairly tough if you dont abuse it too much. Also, It provides a consistent feed...
All around a good loader, a little on the pricey side.
7.7/10

I don't really need to write a review here since its like the standard for all tourney players. It's a really good hopper, but it has its faults. I'm not lazy so it's not a big deal, but I think for 90 it should be a lot easier to take the whole thing apart and clean it especially since the speedfeeds make it easier to break paint inside. Also nobody sells replacement magnetic lids just in case you do break yours so that sucks. If you are going to get a halo b, you really need to watch the youtube video to maintain it. This is the best out there....until the JRNY comes out

Well when I bought this at first, I was amazed to see how much smaller a HALO looks then on pbnation. I thought it was going to be a brick on a feed neck. The thing can load faster then any gun on the market (stock). And the V35 configurations are pretty easy to configure with. Many people say it's too heavy and it's too bulky. Well I think the truth is that 9/10 times, your hopper will be hit if somebody is aiming at it and 1/2 of an inch less isn't going to make a really big difference. Also, the thing may be heavy for some people, but if you practice with it for awhile, you will get use to it and your snapshooting will be back to normal after a day or less of playing. This is a great hopper, and just because it's 1/2 of an inch smaller and a couple of ounces heavier doesn't mean it's an amazing hopper. I'm not to sure about it's reliability yet because I have only had it for a couple of months, but it's good on efficiency and it will be the last loader I will ever need.

Ok it is a Halo with a Rip Drive ... pretty much the standard of loaders even till this day (4/21/08). The V35 board is fast, but it's anti-jam programming sucks still. So unless you play in uncapped tourneys .. V35 board isn't worth it. you have a Rip drive .. which is what you will end up using for jams.
Performance:
Feeds great, smooth, and consistently .. reason why it is so popular. The way it sits on your marker makes it very balanced. The lid isn't as great as the Vlocities not as wide and harder to shut closed, but if you use Speedfeeds .. most players end up pouring half the pod on the ground any ways ..
YOU KNOW WHO YOU R!
Reliability:
Honestly, the shells use to be as fragile as the paintballs in them .. since KEE started producing them, I feel they are much more versatile than even the after market shells, just a pain to clean. Taking them a part is no fun. Putting the internals back together is tricky because you have to wind the spring blah blah ... sometimes it is EZ .. other times I think I have a better shot at Megan Fox ..
The power button plate will break within 2 months of using it .. still functional though.
If the eyes, get dirty you are screwed. It won't feed.
Hence the Rip Drive!
Halo is pretty much at every national event doing all the Dirty work for you .. NICE GUYS!
Conclusions:
Even after the Vlocity, Torque, Jrny have taken their share of the market. This loader will still be considered the STANDARD. More players will still use this or an Empire (which is better IMO) .. bc it works great and is balanced on your marker. It isn't heavy even compared to any other loader. Mine has lasted for over 2 yrs in several events without any problems.
Recommended upgrades:
TALL T if you don't own one already Powerlyte shells NOT HYBRID
Rubber back plate either Virtue or Hybrid
Cut your Feedneck to sit low on your marker (wish they just made this stock)
The new stock S4 drive cones don't break so you don't need one unless yours break, which will not happen if you bought it within the past 2.5 yrs.

Odyssey Halo V35 With Rip DriveI got a used halo to have as a back-up. One day my lil brother needed to borrow it. First time we use it the eyes go bad. Second time the board gets fried. This hopper is full of fail.

Odyssey Halo V35 With Rip DriveThe Halo V35 board is faster than the stock Halo board, but I really didn't see much of a difference other than drop tests. I sold this and got an Empire B instead; and never looked back.

I used to make fun of the rip drive... but I wouldn't play without it after owning it.
Not a bad alternative, especially if you buy it used.
