This marker is literally the first developed for paintball, with paintball in mind. Prior to the Splatmaster's release, the few people who did play paintball used markers designed for forestry rangers, who wanted a way to mark trees from a distance.

It is made from a strong plastic that can handle a good amount of abuse (trust me). The gun is nicely balanced, and easy to carry.
My only complaints are the low velocity, and it's inaccuracy. I'm sure there are mods you can do to help velocity, but with a fresh 12ie, it'll hit 250 on a nice summer day; though you will be able to get about 20 or so usuable shots out of it. And the accuracy aint all that great. It'll hit the target from 30ft, but I won't guarentee anything after that; but what do you expect? The barrel's plastic.
Despite it's short commings, when used as a side arm, it's a nice little gun. Solid shooter, and stable platform. Not to mention it's a nice piece of PB history.
