the team i play for have been hoping around looking for new paint and came across nelsplat paint. its a very nice think fill and is very visable, but it has a tendecy to just bouce off stuff(like your google lense) and not break. its great for practice. it shoots very straight but i would not use it for a tourny. it is also a great value

Nelson Paintball Nelsplat The shell on this paint shoots good in my pm8. Good Brittle shell that will break on the target. I do not like the fill on this paint. Its a bit runny for my taste but the orange color is nice.

$25 @ 2,000 rounds was excellent.

Today this day, after playing competitive paintball for 8 years this is one of the best old school paints I've ever shot.

Price paid: $35.00
Pros: flies pretty straight, surprisingly brittle
Cons: got a bad case
I bought five cases of this stuff after reading the mostly positive reviews and seeing the very reasonable price. out of those five cases I got one pretty bad case and a few broken paintballs. I say that the one case was bad because around 1/10th of all the paintballs in it were very misshapen. By that I mean that they were spheres with a very large lump sort of like this> but just not as pointy and half of the rest of the balls in the case were starting to get misshapen themselves. I did take the time to go through the case and pick most of the bad ones one because I can't just throw out $35 like that in good conscience.
But other than that extreme case (no pun intended) the other cases were good with only one broken in each bag here and there. They also flew pretty straight out of my freak barrel and broke when I needed them to. In the drop test I did with them, most broke within 2-3 drops and some even on the first drop! I'm definitely buying more for recplay and even maybe for practice.
