Having shot most high ends on the market right now, it obviously comes down to personal preference once the price tag goes over $1000. All these guns come now ready to rip out of the box, all you need is a hopper and a tank. This one's no exception.
Best barrel available (Titanium Boomstick), with the possible exception of the Stiffi, standard.
One of the most respected regulators in the business on the Hyper2, breaks-in real fast, like a case or so, very consistent and not too hard to maintain.
The board is feature-packed and will give you all modes and setting adjustments you will ever likely need (unless PSP reduces MROF to 13.3, can you imagine?), even thou is not as user-friendly as LCDs and OLCDs like Egos and Angels. Debounce, dwell, hopper delay can all be controlled and even thou fine tuning it will require some research and concentration for first timers, it makes the gun even smoother and more efficient.
Perceived accuracy, just like any other DM, is top notch. With a poor match between paint size and barrel bore, as long as the paint is halfway decent, groups are really tight even at long ranges. With good paint and good match, you'll get ball on ball.
Weight is not an issue, very few guns out there can honestly claim to be much lighter than this (an ounce give or take), and it's extremely well designed, very ergonomic and confortable. The trigger guard is large enough to walk the trigger with ease, and the distance between grip and regulator is just perfect, doesn't feel cramped at all. It feels very natural to point and shoot, almost instinctive.
The Matrix family of markers is notoriously quiet (as most spoolers are), specially when compared to Egos and Angels, and that is, in my opnion, one of the factors that contribute to the overall smoothness of operation and when added to the utter lack of kick, it makes for a very desirable package.
Appearance is obviously a very subjective category, but this is one gorgeous looking piece of metal. Retaining some of the trade marks from earlier Matrixes, but mixing it up with new milling and machining technologies makes it at the same time futuristic looking and classic. Nothing feels out of place here. The laser engraving on either side adds nothing to performance, but it's a nice touch and makes the gun instantly recognizable as a Limited Edition and gets some kudos for style.
I wouldn't reccomend a marker you can't get anymore BNIB, but if you have one, as I'm sure I don't have to tell you, please keep it. This is the apex, the culminating point of an era of markers. After this designers will have to start from scratch if they want to make it A LOT better. If just slightly better is fine, that's when you get a DM7 or DM8. I can't rate it as perfection, but this was as close as it gets....

The ironmen matrix is a great looking marker. Its incredibly fast and very accurate. My only complaints is that it doesn't get great efficiency (about 8 pods off a 68/45) and its not well balanced, its sorta awkwardly heavy. They cut a lot of weight from the dm6 to the dm7 so i would recommend any DM after the 7.

I had a ironmen DM6 for five years and sold it last week worst mistake of my life... anyways i used slick honey and ran my lpr at 2, 2 1/2 it was super quiet, but i had amazing efficency out of a hopper and 6+ pods off a 45/45. the on/off on the gun and the bottom one are both junk get a cp flowplug and take the asa off and replace on oring and you should never have another issue in your life with it!!

Dye Precision Ironmen DM6Picked this up just over a year ago, I have never had to do anything other then basic maintenance. The lasering of the logo looks great! Shoots like butter, I would recommend this gun to ANYONE!

Only DM i ever owned and the last one i will ever own this thing shot so smooth for the DM back then, but after i moved to PE i cant go back just a fact u have to keep up with cleaning this thing all the time, cons to it was that i always got a shell from paint that broke in it stuck behind the bolt so it couldn't cycle all the way through and that turned me off to them...

The iron man is nice because of the little attention to detail they did with it with the branding. While i wish it got some different milling, i guess i can't complain at all.
Def worth the pick up if you find one! You won't be disappointed!
