Pros: Light, Shoots straight throught breaks
Cons: Cost & Hard to remove backs
My wife bought me a Stiffi Switch Kit for my birthday so I was not as worried about the cost as I normally would be. I shot the worst and cheapest paint I could find through it and I barely ever noticed breaks in the barrel, and when I did it was after the end of the day and it always shot straight through! I had this kit on a DM6, Ego 6 & 7 and it always shot great. The backs were hard to remove, but they have the hole there for hex key to go into to make it workable.
The only reason I got rid of it is because my new gun came with a kit. If it wasn't so expensive I would probably get another one.

Pros: Looks and Shoots Great
Cons: Barrel Back
Please note the price I paid was USED!

For the most part I really like this kit. It is light, looks awesome and shoots straight as an arrow with minimal noise. I had a barrel break while using cheap paint and the self cleaning barrel was clear in two shots. My biggest complaint is the barrel backs. They are short which some would say can limit the accuracy (tho I am not sure I agree), but my biggest complaint is removing the barrel back. When I want to remove the barrel the front unscrews fromt he back easily and then my bog hands have a hard time gripping the small back that is left. A good part about the back is the small holes drilled in the collar where the back and front meet. I pass an allen key/wrench thru two of the holes and use that as a lever.

Would I buy the kit again? Not new, the cost is too high- but definately used.

SITE, Inc. St!ffi Switch Back Really solid barrel, for sure the best one I have used. I really love how light it is. Accuracy is basically as good as possible for a shocker. I really have no complaints other then it's a bit pricey

Cons: price, backs accuracy
I invested in a stiffi switch kit a few years back and thought it would be great since i had loved the 12 inch 689 bore. When i got it i didnt realized taht the backs are the only part of it that are bored. that is roughly an inch and a half of bore size, making accuracy VERY inconsistant. Another problem i ran into was with a wgp karnivor wich pushes the ball farther forward than any other gun the ball was pushed almost all the way out of the barrel making accuracy horrible.

I love stiffi i still use there barrels but they need to make there barrels with longer bores. 1.5 inches of bore isnt great sadly

Pros: Carbon fiber looks and performs great
Cons: A bit pricey
I was the first person in Alaska to get one of these right after they were released in early/ mids 2000s.

I used the ever loving bejesus out of this set and it worked like a pro. That being said they are not indesctructable as I finally broke it tripping on indoor turf slaming the barrel tip into the very thin turf covering the concrete and busted the carbon fiber out of the aluminum back.

I now have a permenant scar on my chin from this but I can't possibly fathom how any barrel could have withstood that crash.

I've now owned 2 more of these sets... I don't beleive they are being made anymore but they were great back in the day.

Pros: Light, Quiet
Cons: Small control bores
This is a good barrel kit if you're looking for something really light and still need different bore sizes. It is very quiet as well, it quieted down every marker I put it on. It also shoots through breaks fairly well but your barrel will still be a bit dirty after a break so you do loose some accuracy, but it's certainly better than not being able to shoot at all.
Accuracy is acceptable but not as good as you would expect for a kit that costs as much as a Switch kit does new, the accuracy is mainly because of the tiny control bores. If it didn't cost as much I would be less concerned about the accuracy.
I got mine used for about 70 dollars Canadian, but I can't say I would buy one new. Overall a good barrel kit but it could be better.

Pros: Accuracy, Weight
Cons: Cost
Was a little hesitant because of cost but after playing with it, I found it was well worth the investment. I did have some issues with paint breaking and it wouldn't shoot clean like a lot of reviews said, but we're talking OLD CRAPPY paint. This made such a difference as far as the heft of the gun it was amazing. My G3 weighs next to nuttin now. Was shooting a MacDev MatchStik for $120.

Worth every penny.

SITE, Inc. St!ffi Switch Back Overall, my favorite barrel ever. Only problem was when paint got broken anywhere near the barrel it would weigh on it enough to alter it at times, but barely noticeable. Love it.

SITE, Inc. St!ffi Switch Back had this kit for a month or so it cleans out well and is super light and quiet. the only downfall is the smallest bore size it comes with is .687 where paint is easily down to .685 now
