Well to honest this is in my opinion this is the second best hopper behind the rotor. Yeah people say it is loud but that is only with tension, if you show me a vid of you ramping or semi past 15 bps in a tournament. Because it feeds well past 15 with no tension which makes it use it's eyes only making it like a halo b. I am not going to say it's not ****ing loud in Setting 5 with tension but the only time you need to use it is when you are just shooting extra paint in your yard which will last like 6 seconds because it feeds like 37 bps in setting 5. so STFU about the noise it's your choice to be dumb and put it in that setting in a real game. Over all the XSV Vlocity is my favorite hopper.

for the money i think mine gives the rotor a run for its money mostly cuz the rotor is wayyy overpriced that thing barely feeds faster than my xsv i did a drop test we both had 140 paintballs the rotor finished a moment before mine and mine jammed plus the rotors anti jam is a manual thing the xsv goes about 37 bps which is very high for the price and its upgraeable which is nice

I used a VLocity for multiple seasons. They are light, and have a high capacity. The shells are a major weakness of this design though, as they are easy to crack. The hopper is also very tall (think flagpole). For what you can purchase them for these days, they offer excellent value.

The cons on this hopper arent really that bad. The clockspring issue is so easy to solve, i made my little 4 year old cusin do it all and he DID!!!... all i had to was the handy work. The batteries dont last long so you have to remember to turn it off whenever you are not using it. Also the battery door screw... MAKE SURE YOU DONT UNSCREW IT!! it is made to not come out. I hope this helped and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BUY THIS HOPPER. YOU WONT REGRET IT!

i've had the xsv for about 3 months now, but recently put a virute chip in because i couldn't stand the noise anymore. with the xsv chip, when i put the loader on any tension setting other than 1, it just screamed all the time. it wouldn't even quit after 30 seconds of no activity (when the motor is supposed to stop turning). it fed fine the fews days i did play with it, put i couldn't take the whining.
basically, i really don't have any problem with the xsv except for the noise and that it totally sucks your batteries dry in not time flat. lots of people seem to have problem with the clockspring impellor, but mine has been through about 5 cases now with no problems. the lithium ion batteries are a great addition. i use one set in this loader and another set in my halo and both work flawlessly.
everything else is basically the same as a vlocity jr, so you still get the shorter length (compared to halo) with slightly higher profile. despite the extra money i've had to put in this loader, i believe it is still a great deal.

Pros
I love this loader. When the vlocity first came out, i, like most people thought it looked stupid, but the more you play with one the better it looks. I love the reliability of the xsv. It has never stopped working for me. It is more than fast enough for anyone playing any mode (nppl, psp, nxl) It is very very light, lighter then my empire b for sure. The drive in the xsv is different then with the original. I only had 2 issues with the original one and 1 was how it felt then it feed. The xsv loader fixed this. I did not like how it felt choppy, i liked the smoother feel of the empire's, the xsv loader feeds a lot more smooth then the original.....it rocks. The battery live is really good too.
Cons
The one an only thing i don't like about it is it does not have a rip drive. I always feel better with a rip drive just in case the loader takes a ****. But then again i have never needed a rip drive with this either. Never had a jam or anything.
SUM
Its a killer loader. I really recommend it. I also DO recommend getting the xsv loader over the original, the xvs feeds just as fast but smoother than the original.

I bought this loader system because of the rechargeable batteries. It's a VLocity Jr without "VLocity Jr" written on the side. The guts are a little different: there's a clockspring impeller instead of the standard VLocity impeller, and there's an XSV Chip which allows you to adjust tension on the ball stack. It also has an auto anti-jam. Nothing compared to Gangstar or Nox Injector, but a tiny step up from a stock VLocity Jr chip.
My first day with this loader was pretty horrible. It stopped feeding during one game, and I took it apart to find the clockspring had snapped in two. A call to JT immediately yielded a replacement, which is white instead of black and looks to be a bit thicker. I've run about 5 cases through it now with no issues. I have a regular impeller assembly ready to go if this one breaks, but I'm thinking it won't happen any time soon.
Overall, I recommend this loader. It has a bad rep because the first clockspring was terrible, but if you get a replacement, it's all gravy. Fast, light, and cost effective with the rechargeable batteries. What's not to like?
