When I opened up a case of rec-sport its always disappointing I've shot this paint at two different fields. When fresh its decent, the size is smaller than average. Sometimes you might get a bag like thats looks like 500 golf balls, sometimes you might get a bag of half golf balls. You don't know.
The bright side is it breaks easily, nice for practice.
I've not had the barrel break problem with these that some other people have had. However, These are ALWAYS horribly dimpled (4 cases now). I have had a few people I play with say that they thought they were out, after I hit them several times, only to find that none of them broke (although some of these people are rather fat). When I drop them they only break after I throw them high into the air (at least 7 feet), to have them land on concrete. On the plus side they are cheap, and can be had for $35 without too much looking around. I've not had a problem with size variability, they always tend to run about .691-.693 for me, so most stock barrels will love this. If you want to practice headshots, this is the paint to use, since that is one of the few places it will break. Once I finish off this box, I will be buying wal-mart paint.
I chose this paint for the cost first and manufacturer second. I was disapointed in the variations in sizes in each bag. Forget trying to use a sized barrel as only 2 out of 20 are the same size. I had several barrel breaks and then moved to the biggest barrel back and had none.
This is a good rec paint if you are looking for painting a target with quantity hoping for a hit versus aiming.
Recently one of the fields I play at knocked the price up on some of their other paints so I decided to go cheap and go with Rec Sport, the last time I played with it, it was terrible, my halo had trouble seeing it, and it shot like crap, but I figured I'd give it the benefit of the doubt as maybe I just got a bad batch of paint, and it was only for messing around. Well, I was wrong, I loaded this stuff up, and realized what a waste of money this paint was, I swear I couldn't shoot the broadside of a barn with this crap, let alone, another opponent, typically, when I shoot other types of low grade paint Its inaccurate, but nowhere near as bad as this stuff, shots went all over the place up down, left right, this crap is horrible, if you have a choice between this and something else, spend a couple extra bucks and shoot something different, I will never shoot this crap again guaranteed
