Pros: Profile, Comfortable, Breathable, Padding, Bounces
Cons: Limited Sizes, Price is only fair, Can be bulky
I remember when I was 14 and it was cool to come home with as many welts & bruises from paintball as possible because it meant I was tough because I could play paintball in only a T-shirt and Nike shorts. Anyway I'm 24 now and I don't need to do that anymore to prove my manhood. Plus the thought of getting lit up by 13+ bps just doesn't sound fun. Empire Ground Pounder SE Men's Chest Protector...add to cart? *CLICK*.

Good:
- Profile - Most chest protectors look extremely bulky (like you're going to do moto-X) this is more like a T-shirt with padding stitched into it. Easily worn under a jersey, or wear it as a padded T-Shirt.
- Padding - I got a few bounces which means more playing time. Oh and anywhere I got hit where there was padding left little to no welt and the sting was significantly less than I was used to. Also unlike other protectors it does have some sleeve protection for your upper arms, which is great.
- Comfort/Breathability - It feels like a T-Shirt but made of a very breathable material (like a basketball jersey), so it's very comfortable, and not too hot under a jersey either. I really forgot I had this thing on during play.

Bad:
- Limited Sizes: Small/Medium, Large/X-L, and 2x/3X. which leads to:
- Can be bulky: It's supposed to be a tight fit. So if you're like me in between a size...either it will fit too tight, or like a t-shirt..rather than fitted.
- Price - it's not uber-expensive at $40. But it's not cheap either. It's a fair purchase. if they dropped it $5-10 as someone else said, it'd easily sell a lot more.

p.s. wash in cold water inside-out and hang dry.

I have one of these but have since gave it to my wife. Its a great product and does whats advertised but i find it to be way too bulky under my jersey. I dont mind the sting of a paintball but thought this would help me by having balls bouce off of it. It does exactly that, but now i find that to a little on the cheap side of playing.

Def over-priced but does what its advertised too
