These are slider shorts that continue down past your knees. I wear my knee pads under them which works amazingly. The non-slip guards below the knees make sure that your knee-pads will never move on you. This makes the product VERY useful as I am always having the problem of my knee-pads sliding up. There is also padding on your bum (for when you get bunkered maybe), on the hips (to keep away hip-bone scratching), thighs, and some padding for your pee pee. The only con I found was finding a size that will fit me, there are no waist adjusters so you need to find a size that fits you perfectly both height and waist size so I would reccomend going into a proshop first to try them on. Excellent product great buy.

Empire GP Pro Sliding PantsLove these pads, picked them up off of an ANS sale a couple of years ago. They've lasted two whole seasons of NCPA, and cfoa, and still have padding.

I bought these almost two years ago and have used them EVERY weekend. I have yet to have a tear or have stitching come apart. However, my knee pads are starting to die. They are not thick to begin with, and with 200lbs falling on them hundreds of times, they started to fall apart. Other than that, I absolutely love them, the fields where I have played at are nice enough that I do not need excessive padding on my knees. However, it is easy enough to wear other knee pads over these ones. I will definitely be buying another pair when it comes time for new pads.

I bought these because I had problems with my knee pads sliding off, sideways, and generally being uncomfortable. I came up with a design similar to this, but never made it work through several butchered pairs of pants. I finally saw these come out and bought them immediately after having a tough time finding them in stock.
The knee pads perform as expected and don't move during rough play. I used to not think slide pants were important; but they save much wear on your bottom, especially when playing woods.
A much needed design, with Empire high quality, but never caught on.

A pair of these were given to me by a good friend. I dont like a ton of padding so these are perfect. I hated knee pads because they'd slide on me. The hip pads on the top are really nice for outdoor play where I used to scuff up my hips. Granted there isn't a lot of padding everywhere. The nut pad is a life saver, especially when I ref. I don't know if I could play off of turf without them.
Pros:
Padding everywhere
No slipping
Cons:
If you have to buy them, they are a bit pricey

Empire GP Pro Sliding Pantsi didnt have them for longer than 3 months when the knee pads ripped..
the pads are gel, and when you slide on your knees, you end up ripping the knee pad and all the padded gel coming out of it.....

the pads are gel, and when you slide on your knees, you end up ripping the knee pad and all the padded gel coming out of it.. making the knee pads completely pointless... the rest of the pads are PERFECT, and dont have any issues with them, fit comfortably and i dont realize im even wearing them.. adds more to the waste, holds up my pants better because of that..
