So i picked up a Black Magic made by WGP. A 2006'er.
Mine was pre-upgraded with an authentic Eclipse Blade 2 Frame (e2) and board.
Eclipse QEV's
Angel Reg. (teeny tiny, unbelievable flo rate for size....crazy consistant)
Hybrid On/off
Hybrid Q-Lock Feedneck
Deadlywind Whisper Fibur Barrel
......thats it i think.
The Marker was simply outstanding. Crazy efficient. Extremely light.
got around 1500 shots off a 70/4500 (once i tuned it to perfect)
all in all for $275+50 (deadlywind was 50 xtra) i got an incredibly marker.
$275!!!!. You get shimmy shockers and pm5's for that price (and pmrs).
Who ever thought cockers were dead. was 'dead wrong'.
This was pretty much a Karnivor, lighten'd, E2'd, and halfblocked. (My setup was pretty much a Jeff Orr Sig Cocker.....for $275!!!!!!!)

I love the looks of this marker ~ for a stock body it's probably my second favorite behind the Karnivor. I bought my 05 BM at the price drop during the summer of 07 for $225 ~ a steal for a BNIB 05 BM. I knew I'd eventually get rid of the SF frame on it but tried to play with the SF frame on it several times ~ with zero luck...
The SF frame has no timing options and the marker just needed to be timed stock. After a few times trying to get it to shoot ~ I finally found another cocker with E1 board to make the swap. Since the E1 swap the BM has been wonderful. I really wish WGP would have put an Eclipse frame on the marker and not the horrid SF frame but oh well ~ I got what I love now.
Stock the perfomance was not great with the SF frame, hence the 3/5 stars. Reliablity stock also wasn't great as if you didn't have fresh batteries in it the marker would eat paint, more like chew it up and puke it out.
I still found the value to be excellent when the prices dropped massively middle to late last year.

Appearance, accuracy, reliability, and performance
Cons:
Feedneck, on/off
Appearance – I personally love black guns, it took everything in me to not fall in love with this gun when I first saw it. The flames add the perfect touch to this gun, I honestly think if they had tried to do more with it or add colors to it, it could have been too much. After one round with it, I was ready to profess my love for the most bad-*** autococker design ever (my opinion).
Performance – Though I had never owned an electronic gun before, I had tested out my friend’s guns and was a little skeptical due to the many problems I had seen them run into. I was used to full-pull traditional trigger autocockers, so when the guy told me that it took about 4 shots to start ramping (which is a little more than most like) I was happy with that. The way I see it is, I am used to full-pull so not much would change as my normal play was concerned, but if I had to sling a lot of paint I had the ramping capabilities to put some suppressive fire down. Having that control was a beautiful thing.
Reliability - I was impressed that with this gun, being completely stock, it could hang with the all-out ramping without chopping balls or sputtering out (of course a lot of which depends on the loader). The only problems I ran into was with the on/off for some reason I had trouble with turning the knob all the way tight, it had to be in one certain place for the gun to get air. No one else I have talked to has had this problem so I consider it an isolated incident. Also, the feedneck worked fine but a clamping feedneck will definitely be a better option.
Value – I got this gun for $250 out the door, and it works great stock. Though some may consider this to be value, I look at the potential for upgrading the gun as the true value. If you take into consideration replacing the Ram w/ QEVs, LPR, installing an MQ2 valve, E2 frame with a tadao board; you can have a gun that will stand alone on the field and get a lot of looks.
Overall – Of course I am a little biased when it comes to cockers, so I must admit that has something to do with it. But if it wasn’t a great gun and I was thrilled with wgp, I wouldn’t put myself out there for them. I like the idea of being able to do so much with this gun. Yes, you can go out and buy a gun that will initially shot faster than this one, but you will not be able to upgrade or customize it nearly as much. I enjoy the options of making this gun my own, being able to upgrade nearly every part on it. So that when I’m on the field and someone says, “Hey, I have a Black Magic too!” I can say with a grin, “Yea…, but you don’t have one like mine…”

Iv never had a problem with this gun and the reliability is amazing.
only ups i would suggest out of the box are a new feedneck, the wgp grip neck wont fit halos and other large neck loaders.
a ram if you find it necessary to upgrade along with detents and a barrel kit

I love this gun! Stock was phenominal, but I wanted to make it faster. I installed a Belsales .44 Magnum Ram with QEV's, WGP Tickler LPR, Eclipse E2 Frame, MQ2 Valve and an E2 Samurai 2 Trigger. I have to say that once I tuned everything and got the bugs out once I installed the MQ2, this gun is BLAZING FAST! No kick found, great on air (1700 shots 68/45 est) and looks MEAN!
You can't find very many of these 05/06 Black Magics, but if you can help it, get one! If you want speed, accuracy and reliability, this gun is for you.
